    UPDATE!

Well I now only have 1 Iguana, the youngest one. The female ran away shortly after I started this topic and the old one died.

So now im down to one huge green lizard who still brakes out of his cage all the time, but this time he's got no-one to kill, so I decide "fuck it" let him wonder my backyard, and at first it worked and he keept to like 2 or 3 bushs, then he vanished for 2 weeks and I told him not to do that again... funny but when I tell him not to do something he listens...

Not long after that he comes to our back door and starts scratching, he's hunger right? So we feed him and he keeps doing it. One day soon after my Dad just opens the door and in walks the Iguana. Ok it was kinda funny, but when it got late we put him outside.

I think he likes my house, coz he keeps asking to come in, we let him in, then he finds a mirror and try's to fight himself... So then the other day from inside the house he goes to the back door and scratches at it, we let him out and he chilled for a few days.

We would just not let him in the house, but the only real reason why we don't want him in here is coz of his shit. I think he's figured this out coz last time we let him out he took a crap then came back. He must have figured it out from watching the dog.

I think I have feed him Dog food to much, he's basicaly acting like a dog. ATM he's under a tolit with his head on a roll of tolit paper like a pillow, talking about making yourself at home!

    Heres a pic of him:

BIIG bump. Didn't even know this topic existed. oh well

I find it pretty funny that the female ran away (no offense to you, Kumba), she was probably like "Screw this, those potheads are taking too long" and walked out the door. Like Kid rock and Pamela Anderson :D .
Then the older one basically commited suicide.

Well, that would explain why I found him drowned in his own water dish... :twitch:

I like iguana’s very much. Nice and beautiful animals.
I has done my internship in a reptile zoo (my study is animal care and veterinary surgeon). There we had an aggressive iguana (he had feared) and I work with him. After a few weeks I could stroke him. :D
I want an iguana too, from a young age to make him tame. But they are too big for me. I don’t want to use a half room for him (and I live by my parents) and in Holland it’s always to cold too keep them outside. :(

    good luck with breeding :)
