It's definitely going to be an rct2 park that wins, because they have more wow factor.
But hopefully LL will at least be able to put up a fight. -

There's a third one if you look harder. The first two were right next to eachother. There are 2 squares on the RCT2 bench with gray wooden sides.

I don't think so. A lot of that depends on the judges. Besides, for me, a great LL park has more wow factor than RCT2.It's definitely going to be an rct2 park that wins, because they have more wow factor.
But hopefully LL will at least be able to put up a fight.
If everyone eligible entered this contest, I would be beyond thrilled with a top 10 finish. I was thinking that Iris should send the parks to the judges without names attached. I know a lot of them would be obvious, but it may allow some of the non-parkmakers to get a fair shake. I know it is really hard to judge fairly when you know who made everything.
WME...I agree with everything you said...but I really wouldn't count LL out. I think the top 5 will be a good mix of the two games. -

Hmm I guess you're right. But it seems to be that people are far more impressed with rct2 at the moment Hell, half the community doesn't even have LL.I don't think so. A lot of that depends on the judges. Besides, for me, a great LL park has more wow factor than RCT2.
About the anonymity thing - some people like personalising their parks anyway, so i'm not sure that'd work. Although I expect iris and raven would be impartial. -

I'm letting SA in because he is a NE Parkmaker.
Whether or not hes an ACTIVE Parkmaker is another story, but all Parkmakers are allowed to enter. -

Mantis, I think it won't be only the "wow-factor" that decides the winner in this contest, as it will be a panel of judges who know RCT well, like in Hi-Rollers and just doesn't go after the first impression. At least I hope it will be. -

I know, but you told me half a year ago that all Parkmakers had to answer to the invitation, but if they didn't, they could only get in by winning a qualifying round.I'm letting SA in because he is a NE Parkmaker.
Whether or not hes an ACTIVE Parkmaker is another story, but all Parkmakers are allowed to enter.
I don't really mind tho. -

Well I have to admit I'm skeptical about the chances of an LL park to win this. Not because the judges will be impartial, but because RCT2 can do a lot of things that RCT1 can't and a lot of those things are new and exciting. Then again -- X-Sector, OZONE, and Posix especially impressed me a lot with their Hi-Roller parks so maybe those concerns are unfounded.
So which will I use to whoop your asses? RCT2 or LL? So many choices, so many possibilities. -

I am begging you. Not only you Ed, everyone....but because RCT2 can do a lot of things that RCT1 can't and a lot of those things are new and exciting.
Stop with this "The possibilities in RCT2 are amazing. It's so complex. It's so advanced. It's so much better".
I've heard that since the damn game came out. It's just not fair because people don't see the stuff you can only do in LL. -

Well that's also because a lot of members don't own LL and can't see any of the LL parks. And I have said that LL does things that RCT2 can't. Many times. It's just that RCT2 is new and what's new is exciting. I've been trying to do invisible track for years and people can do it in RCT2 now. I try to invent new themes in LL and I've had some success but nothing on the scale of what Toon is doing with scenery and cBass with his clever use of RCT2 architecture. And I never said "It's so much better" - you added that on your own. You might think it was implied but it wasn't. I'm over the whole RCT2 vs. LL issue and have been for a long time. I don't need to choose sides, they're both great. -

Well said, Ed. (tee hee)I'm over the whole RCT2 vs. LL issue and have been for a long time. I don't need to choose sides, they're both great.
Now, if only we could all adopt this logic... -

Good, this'll give me a break from Project Ownage, I'll start as soon as I find inspiration. Oh and trust me, this'll probably not be Posix friendly (jk)

You might need a bit of ST (Spare Time) first. So which will I use to whoop your asses? RCT2 or LL? So many choices, so many possibilities.

I would absolutly love that outcome Fatha'. The top five consisting of, at least, 3 LL entrys, would be awsome. -

Unfourtunatly, I have not started, and won't for atleast two weeks. The end of Warchild is near. The current estimated completion date for Project Warchild is March 22. Once that's done, I've got 5-6 weeks to finnish my entry. It's cutting it short, hopefully quality won't be comprimised. -
Ride6 Offline
I started about a week ago. I've still got some fundementals to work out though so I can only fill about 1/3 of the map untill I figure out what I want. Warchild... Soon? *Drools* Sweet!
