Hey folks, I really need some tips/help with track merging. Right now, I'm trying to merge a woodie into a large steel loop and/or cobra roll. I have failed miserably almost every time. On my latest attempt, I merged the first piece of wood track to the steel track but then the train crashed one (for lack of better terminology) 'track tile' next. Yeah, I need some help, please. Any tip is good, and should I use SOB or 8C because I've been using 8C. -

I've said it before and I'll say it again; track merging for rct2 is a hell of a lot easier the 8 cars way than the sob way. Tutorial can be found here:

Dear lord, sweet, sweet Kumba to the rescue. But do you have to click very fast in SOB? Or can you do it at a slower pace? -

its not like RCT1, slow will work. and it only needs to be one track length mearged, more then that is not needed. -

Yay, I merged. But now a couple of pieces are white and they stick out like a sore thumb. Why is this and is there any way to get rid of it? -

Ummmm....Change the 'second color options' to the prefered color and brush it over the white. I think that's what you're talking about.Yay, I merged. But now a couple of pieces are white and they stick out like a sore thumb. Why is this and is there any way to get rid of it?
Sorry if I'm way off. -

Appoligies accepted because you are. The glitch comes from the beast method, and although I can't pinpoint its exact cause, it has something to do with when buiding track when the clearances are all messed up and the white graphic in rct2 to build another piece of track gets stuck in the image of the park. Again, this is why 8 cars is sooooooo much better Kumba. -

Ok, so after the hack is made, the screen keeps looking like the clearances have been zeroed. Even tho I haven't zeroed the clearances. Whats up with that? -

Son of the Beast is the RCT2 trainer. It can be found at RCT Grotto, along with the Beast Trainer for LL. -

they always leave out that the ride cannot be in continuous circuit mode.

It works for me, if i right click the WHITE track, and clcik the bulldozer once, it gets rid of the white ghost track, but leaves the proper track. Hope that works for you.. -

yup its something like you hafta delete the white track, but the hacked part remains. But a lot of times it ends uip deleting the hacked part anyway. So trial and error is the best bet.
