I'm in my last year of school and I deliver pizzas for some extra money.
after school, I'd like to do a "work&travel"-thing in Japan, if I can raise the money needed. and AFTER that, I'm going to study video game design/2d&3d art
really?
thats so sick dude.
my cousin drew lives over in japan actually lol.
he teaches english, and is doing very well. he basically gets his housing paid for, so all he has to pay for is food, which is awesome.
i'm hoping to visit him at some point, because i think japan would be freaking amazing to visit lol.
so if you go, take a lot of pictures !
currently, i'm a full time student at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
i have no job yet, but i'm looking to possibly get employed at some sort of music store, like guitar center.
or a book store, like borders/barnes and noble.
i dont want to go into the food business at all lol.
i'm going to school for marketing and popular music.
i'm hoping to eventually go to another school for recording arts, because i want to make that my living.
i have a passion for recording and creating music, so i really want to pursue that sort of career.
my dream is to own some type of studio/label someday:] -

I'm an old guy (chronologically) that has done virtually everything in my life....multi-sport athlete through HS, rode professionally for team Suzuki back when motocross was motocross and not some weak design that resembles a kiddie coaster crammed into a stadium...although I did ride a couple of Superbowl of MX at the LA Coliseum and a couple of races at Angel Stadium in the late 70's/early 80's (dropped out of college to do that). Broke both of my wrists practicing, picked up a guitar for therapy and got into music during the 80's....was the founder and lead singer of the original Lizzy Borden along with fronting the LA Dolls and Mutiny (we got fucked by management at the time that every decent metal band in LA was getting deals and lost what would have been a very lucrative contract)...would have replaced Vince Neil as Crue's frontman (I went to HS with Tommy and Vince at Royal Oak HS so, I'd known these guys for a while) except me and Sixx wanted to beat each other to a pulp, so fucking John Corabi got the gig and I basically 'retired' from the biz at that time.
Worked construction as a finish carpenter and realizing that I was more adept than 90% of the people I worked for...started my own remodeling/landscape/hardscape business and did rather well with it until I suffered a severe back injury in late '07. Since then.....I take a shitload of meds, work online doing whatever legit marketing scheme I stumble across and make the rest of my income playing poker at the various casinos in the LA/OC/SB counties.
Probably more than any of you need or care to know but....what the fuck, huh?
And...just for Cena's sake.....have become the best RCT player the world has ever seen. -

Freshman in college, studying Construction Management. I'd like to be a General Contractor. Currently unemployed, though.
I also have a knack for web programming, so if anyone needs a page, give me a holler. I can make you a decent page for cheap! -

I actually have a pretty random job. I Studied Geology and Oceanography at University and I now work as an offshore surveyor/geophysicist.
In short it means I get to sit on boats in such lovely places as Senegal and Libya while looking at the seafloor for any obstructions that may cause trouble for the laying of undersea fibre optics or pipelines.
Quite interesting work and i get to travel quite a bit but I do have to spent quite some time away from my friends, it gets to the point where people just assume your away and dont invite you to stuff.
On the plus side as you can imagine on a working ship there isn't a whole lot to do at the end of your shift, so plenty of RCT time. Which goes some way to explaining my productivity over the last year. -

Music major at a local two year school for now until I transfer to something better. I also work part time at a Hot Topic store (I don't plan on making that my career, though. I'm hoping my band gets somewhere, really, but that is a long shot. Ahaha). -

what specifically are you majoring in? i plan on pursuing a career in music but i'm not sure what it is specifically i'd like to do. -

Currently the school I go to doesn't divulge into specifics in that field, so right now I'm just starting with "Music 101" or "Music Fundamentals." I'm pretty sure no matter how you slice it you'll end up taking that course first. Its basically just a class outlining every basic aspect of music such as rhythm, melody, harmony, etc. I find it slightly useless (or I guess I just don't care), because I have no desire to ever write or read sheet music but I'm glad I stuck with it; I'm learning more than I thought I would. You learn a lot about piano taking this course, too. Depending on what school you attend I'm sure you can get into things like contemporary music classes or production or something more focused.what specifically are you majoring in? i plan on pursuing a career in music but i'm not sure what it is specifically i'd like to do.
Next year I might move into Music Theory and Rock History or simply switch my major to something else like English because I'm a writer as well. -

^^i've been playing piano for about nine years, so reading sheet music wouldn't be an issue for me. i would most likely want to get into performing (which i assume is what you're trying to do too) because i enjoying writing and playing more than anything.
