@Chorkiel - What you see is actually pretty much finished. Do mind that where the woodencoaster track ends is the actual edge of the park.
@Deano - Thought about removing the entrances but tbh it works for me this way (and removing them would only create another problem I would have to solve )
@Liampie - Hey I finished stuff before okay that was 5 years back but still. Anyway I'm definetely shooting for spotlight as the quality is very high IMO. However I will add a disclaimer with the release to place the park in the proper context as well.... it's old . If anything it's a historical park in the RCT timeline.
@Luketh - I love how the supports turned out too ^^
@ivo - Thanks
This small area is complicated as hell I must admit. Soo much stuff coming together on a relative small footprint and not really having much small object to work with. I believe I said this before, but it's really a lot like building on a NCSO bench (pretty much it's about building with what you have). -

Bringing the screen over from Fiësta.
And to reply on the comment from Posix there,That's really impressive. Very indicative of what the theme and building purposes are. Great stuff.
The overview of the park looks as though it's close to completion? I'd love to see this one submitted. Don't kill yourself over perfecting it out, make a cut somewhere and declare it "finished".
It's pretty close, the wildwest area and the cartoon area are about 80%-ish so they're almost finished.
The last area with the Time Twister ride is about 40-50% and still requires some substantial amount of work.
When those 3 areas are done the park is more or less finished, but some stuff is in revision. Biggest issue of that is the Aquarius area which needs some extra love as it a pretty major part of the park. It mainly evolves in cleaning up a lot of the clutter, revamping some landscape and adding supports, so it's nothing like a complete redo or anything. Most stuff I actually intend to keep it the way it is, minus some small stuff, which isn't a bad thing as it really depicts a rct timeline in a way.
I'm aiming to release it 2012 (no promises ofc), but I'm taking it slowly (hellooooo captain obvious ). I only play the game when I feel like it and my schedule is very tough atm. I'm currently fighting very hard to pass my pre-master as failing it would mean I'm gonna stop my study which I obviously not want (already have a bachelor luckily).
Main reason is my father was diagnosed with cancer three months ago and the first indications made pretty much said he wouldn't make it in the long run. This has been corrected to a decent fighting chance (and luckily he was healthy for the rest) now but the treatment is tough. There is some spreading but it's still very localised. We're are just hoping that the treatment is effective. It's very weird to make someone very sick to cure him while he didn't have any symptoms or health issues outside of a little bloodloss.
This came at a time that everyone in our family finally was on the right track with all their lifes. This was a very hard blow to all of us.
But enough about my personal woes, we're trying to make the best of it and what's coming is coming and EGAS is definately coming this year. 2012 may indeed be the end of the world (as we know it )..... Damn it.... I actually made a promise now didn't I xD
A well, the park will atleast make it's 9th anniversary this year, I can promise you that -

Wow, that's one great building, really loving it. I simply like everything about it. -

Overall park progress?
92+%, but with me that says nothing xD. Finishing up is and always has been one of my more major weaknesses unfortunately. Technically this thing could be finished in 2-3 weeks, but that would require some stars to align for that to happen />
Still some 20% remaining on the Cartoon Carnival (relatively small area, but packed with 3 relatively major rides, think a slightly bigger micropark) and some 30% on the wild west area (mostly finishing up). The tech area still needs a lot of work, although the dark-ride/coasters interior is finished pretty much, except for the covering building(s). The flyer there still needs most of its theming and the front end area is still pretty much non-existent. Last thing is a small upgrade I'm doing to the Aquarius area, considering it was one of the few areas which IMO it was suffering a little bit from age mostly in the area of the coaster itself. As it's a major area of the park it was something I really wanted it to shine a bit more. -

Lol @ posted in 2004Here are some pictures of my project that is already running a while.
And it was already running for a while you said back then, so this is basically some 10 years going? That's quite... amazing.
Anyway, looking forward seeing this finished -

'A while' was actually six months which was about the same time it took me to make Shady Oasis. Yes it's gonna be 10 years old in July to be exact. Probably a nice goal to set for a release don't ya think?
Not a promise, but we'll see.
btw if I ever would make another park on this scale and take in account the difference in time making Shady Oasis and EGAS it would take 200 years to complete xD
