Thats some crazy-ass 1/4 work you have going on there. I really, really like the detail and color scheme.. I have no complaints thats hasn't been mention before. Amazing Job! -

TBH, i can see where Toon is coming from when i look at the screens, but when i saw an older version of the park in-game it was alot better than in these screens. The only thing im not sure about is the white, it seems too bright. -

The architecture itself is quite spectacular but re-colour to the white, to perhaps, the light pink on the bottom left of the colour pallete, as you have on other parts of the buildings.
Also, as ride6 said, change the land type to brown. Otherwise, amazing architecture and apart from the white, the colour choice is excellent. -

Looks good.. the colours are a bit drastic but they work out.
But honestly, two months, and you only show a picture of practically the same thing as last time? -

I reckon it looks a bit OVERdone actually...
I think Ride6 is right saying that the tower needs more support... it looks a bit flimsy. -

I think I should start with a short explanation. This should consider this theme as something in the way of Atlantis. This structure is part of the area that contains Aquarius, a large B&M twister (Incredible Hulk-style) The area contains several towers (mind however not all at this magnitude) The area is aquatic and I want it to be as colorful as a coral reef (including that I use coral in the theme). It's quite a complex area and very hard to do and I have to do a lot of research to get it working.
Jon --- color is on the moment a main problem in this area and the thing is that I almost replaced most white with peach for the same reason: it's blinding. The problem is that peach also has some side-effect, because it tends to fade important details. I'm still trying out a bit with colorschemes.
Coasterwizard --- I rarely show finished screens and I wanted to show something more complete this time and this was one of the things that was most suitable
Richie --- although I'm not completely sure what you are saying: this indeed looks better in-game
Toon --- The type of color I use has really nothing to do with the 'wow'-effect or something and actually I think a lot and try a lot when I use color (I'm not JKay ), but as I have said above I have some problems getting them together and I'm really at the stage of trial & error at this stage and I can't please all. As for the general use of color: I feel very limited with the choices that rct has to offer and I try to use the whole pallete to it's full potential. I'll see what happens if I change the turquoise.
As I said it's supposed to be a coral reef and I am not completely satisfied with the coral myself. I indeed need to get some coral underwater (I just didn't do that yet) Maybe the effect will be more positive if I have done that. Your comments (and of course everyones comments) are highly appreciated since I have use for it. Technically you are more than 60% responsible that I could build this, so I'm already thankful for that
Ride6, and the rest --- Yes, the tower indeed has some problems concerning it's supporting. However I'm not really in the position to do much about this cause I don't have enough suitable objects for. The initial design at was a bit different. The top of the tower should have been more narrow and the problem is that I hit a design limit of rct in that aspect.
Ride6 I would use less different roofs if I had enough object space for it, but now I have some different roofs with different shapes to give versatility.
About the dirt and foliage/treeing: I have to think about that, because initially I wanted to use not a lot of foliage. The dirt is something that is necessary to get that working.
A few notes:
Although a lot of my areas can look a bit overcrowded sometimes, you have to understand that that has to do with my personal style. You have to look for detail sometimes and sometimes some stuff looks like it has no structure while it really has one. I personally think this adds an additional depth to the park. There is a certain area at the beach that will be unsuitable for a quick watch. Some will probably won't like it. The point however is that you have to unrafel the area and have to watch closely how the structure(s) there work. Another example is Tempest Tides. It's setting is in a flooded city. The best way to enjoy this ride however is to imagine that you are in the rapidsraft yourself. You have to look at it piece for piece.

I think you need another color in there - after looking at several of the screens for a bit, I came to the conclusion that it looked a bit "dry" in certain areas. If you don't want to use alot of foliage... maybe add something that'll give the area a bit more life... -

Okay, for starters I don't have any screens for you.
I have placed this project on the backburner for a while and I'didn't do much on it lately.
BUT that doesn't mean I don't have to say anything at all! I converted all required scenery and I can tell that the park is completely WW-free so that everyone can view it!
Anyway I know my releases are rare, but you can expect some of it since I concentrated on my part of Mythologix and I'm done with my part (not my best work, but not bad). Also I'm doing a guest entry on X250's Masterpiece and it shaping up quite good.

I know this topic is like dead but, have you been working on this lately? I really want to explore this park. It looks awesome. Nothing to critisise about it. -

Well, if you had read the 'park updates' topic you would have known.I know this topic is like dead but, have you been working on this lately? I really want to explore this park. It looks awesome. Nothing to critisise about it.
Anyway I haven't worked on it for a long while already and I know it's almost 2 years old now and this might explain the problem partly: a lot is outdated, but more important is that the lay-out doesn't completely works with me (and that's an understatement) For now this is on hold and I still have to see what's going to happen woth it, but since my summer vacation started.
But that EGAS isn't moving doesn't mean that I'm not doing anything. I'm currently busy with a guest entry in X250's Masterpiece, but it was a bit harder too theme then I first thought + it went a little out of control concerning it's size.
But I'm also busy with something else: Project Magic. Few people know what it's about, but lets just say it surpasses EGAS a lot. I won't advertise it much and most certainly not in the very near future, but the biggest chance to see something of it would be during a Fiesta. -

Hmm... I look foward to seeing something from project magic. Especially if it greatly surpasses, EGAS, which I already had thought was impressive. -

Well, I actually didn't work on it for a long time. However 'we' are getting it back on track atm. With 'we' I mean that X250 is helping me out, mainly on the Aquarius area for now. It will be finished... eventually.
Also I'm working on Project Magic, which isn't going very fast either, but atleast I work on it. The results pay off greatly though -
tyandor Offline
Well, I've been working on it a bit lately and I have something for you all:
It's supposed to look like a railroad depot, but housing the coaster trains.
