I love the coumns holding up the loop. They match up perfectly with the coaster supports at the top. That building in the bottom right corner of the loop screen is awesome too.It matches the theme perfectly. The parthenon is nice too but it looks like it could use more detail on that big roof. Something around the edges like that little peice you put on the front perhaps. Oh and why not paint the loop supports grey to match with the columns? You can do that without changing the rest of the coaster supports. -

Ed speaks the words of truth!
The columns are perfect, the theming is spot-on. The only thing I don't really like is the Cobra Roll on that Green coaster.
The parthenon is just begging for some bits of theming at the corners.

looks very nice, I like the story line too. well thought out.
the only thing I don't like is the little village in the first screen is way too neat. it would look better with some barrels/boxes/potted vegies around the place, like people accually lived there -

Most of it looks nice, but I'm still annoyed by your landscaping.
Random-looking jagged sand doesn't work, at least not for me. To me, a good realistic mixture of sand and rock would probably be better. The wooden custom path isn't very good either.
Your greek-like architecture is great though, except for the 1x2 parts which just is strange. -

elemental: Don't worry about the white path...it's only used in a small area...thx for the comments...
nemesis chris: I'm not quite sure what you mean that I'm using your hedges? that building was one of the very first I made in the park, awhile ago...oh and when I finish, it won't be a nice little park...it'll be a nice big park....it's a 256er...
Coaster Ed: I'm glad you like the columns as supports, cuz I do too....and I did change the color of those sections to gray...and I did put a little more detail around the edges of the Parthenon...
A14504: I'm glad you like the story...too bad the Troy movie that coming out this year isn't using the Aeneid version of the story...that means no Pyrrhus scene...about the neatness, I do plan to go back through and add details when I'm done with the rest...
d4rkj4nu5: You don't like my path? well I do....I'm also fine with the landscaping...but thx for the comments...
Anyway....the next stop in the story, Carthage, is coming along nicely...maybe the next update by the end of the weekend... -

---Update No.4---
Preface: The great city of Troy has fallen to the Greeks. The royal family and many citizens lost their lives in the vicious attack. A small band of Trojans was able to get away and sneak to their ships. There were some leaders among them, one of whom was Aeneas. Aeneas was able to escape but lost his wife in the confusion. This group fled the Trojan shores never to return. What lay ahead, no one could forsee....
In the scene: Aeneas has fled, taking one step closer to fulfilling his destiny. By continuing the Trojan race in Italy, the goddess Venus, Aeneas' mother, would become a powerful goddess. This threatens the strength of Juno, the queen goddess. Juno does not want Aeneas to complete his destiny; she wants the Trojan race to disappear.
When Aeneas and the remaining Trojans flee to the sea, Juno sees her chance to be rid of them. She goes to Aeolia, the home of the winds and the god of the winds, Aeolus. She tells Aeolus, a low-tier god, to unleash the winds and create an enormous, tempestuous storm and wreck the Trojan fleet. He does as told and the Trojans experience an awful storm that throws them into confusion and wreaks havoc on their hulls....
Some ships are hurled onto the sharp crags sticking out of the sea....
The remaining ships are tattered and, having been ravaged by this storm, seek refuge at the closest shore. Aeneas' ship is one of the few that survived....
The storm is calmed by Neptune the god of the seas...he is angry that someone would throw the seas into a tumult without his approval...
On the shore: The remaining Trojans; tired, hopeless, lost, hungry, and depressed; look around. Little do they know at that time that they are on the shores of Africa. They are near the city of Carthage...
*NOTA BENE: Coaster Ed made the majority of these three ships. He was having a hard time stacking scenery so he sent them back to me unfinished...I merely finished them... -

the rest of your stuff is pretty flawless, but for some reason these ships just don't work for me. i find them a bit too... empty. sorry for being a bit vague, i just don't know what it is. but the rest of your stuff is amazing, i'll give you that. personally tho i don't really think you can have a storyline like you just posted. -

I think that these screens show the limits of RCT2....I mean a ship (or shipwreck) has too many curves and odd angles (espcially those sails) that makes it tough to pull something like this off in RCT2... I think thats what panoramical may be trying to say as well.....you've done a wonderful job to make it look its best....I've tried to make a shipwreck once, mine ended up looking like a pile of turd, but yours actually looks like a shipwreck!....i also like the story going along with this park....nice job AP. -

I like those ships but if it is a shipwreck then could you take a trainer and sink some of it underwater? It would really look like a shipwreak then.
I also like how you are making the Oddessy into a Rct 2 park, I thought of doing that once but scrapped the idea. Nice Job! (that is what your doing right?) -

looks good.
I'm curious to see what this park will look like at the end. seeing how over there's the complete boat, and look there, the same boat in pieces!
anyway good to see this is still going -

I really like what you have going here. This park could turn out to be one of the up-and-coming power house and it should put you (AP) onto the road to Parkmaker.
Yay.
I personally think this is the best stuff you've shown so far.

I'm a big fan of these screens, just like I said at rct2.com. They remind me of the kind of things Butterfinger was doing in TOB, except this is in rct2. Well done. -

Thanks for all the comments so far!
panoramical: why can't I have a storyline for my park?
rctfan1556: half of the first ship is under water...you just can't see it that well....also, it isn't the Odyssey, it is based on the Aeneid...
A14504: Actually, they are all different boats....the Trojans had more than one ship when they fled Troy....I just used a few to represent all of them, but they are different....plus, the map is 256x256...so they aren't too close to one another...
Expect update number four next weekend....it will be of Carthage.... -

The storyline's from an ancient roman book, the Aeneid, ever heard of it? dumbass...the rest of your stuff is pretty flawless, but for some reason these ships just don't work for me. i find them a bit too... empty. sorry for being a bit vague, i just don't know what it is. but the rest of your stuff is amazing, i'll give you that. personally tho i don't really think you can have a storyline like you just posted.
Oi, people these days don't pay attention.
EDIT: Ed just has to be so picky
