In the Overview-2 20 04 screen, look all the way to the right. There's a patch of light brown dirt, towards the right, near the edge of the map is dark brown dirt. The dark dark brown dirt is one Hidden Mickey. Now, look "up" on the screen and the water is the other Hidden Mickey. Both of them are as clear as day.

Damn you're good at finding hidden Mickey's.
I must have been looking for hours.

    Thanks man, you rule.

Shit, I didn't know those were hidden. They stand out too fucking much. Wait...
  • Dark_Horse%s's Photo
Your welcome, slob. And steve, half of Hidden Mickeys are hidden. Take the Earrful Tower at Disney-MGM Studios in Florida for example, it has the two Mickey ears at the top. The most easily seen Mickey face in the resort, yet it is considered a Hidden Mickey. It's kind of weird how Hidden Mickeys aren't really hidden that much.

^I think you missed slob's point. And the earful tower thing. Thats not a hidden mickey. If you can see it from a fucking mile away it doesn't look too hidden.

Some people don't understand Disney's coolness. (And no, I'm obviously not talking about helplessfiend.)

    Found two more Mickeys...
  • Jacko Shanty%s's Photo
I found 3 more.. on the sidewalk before the entrance and the shape of the flowers near the entrance. They aren't really hidden though. The real hidden ones are inside the park.. I remember Meretrix saying TA had 30+ hidden Mickey's. Fun stuff.. Meretrix kicks Waldo's ass.
  • Dark_Horse%s's Photo
I read somewhere that Tilted Acres actually had 73 and Meretrix had a complete list of them.

You guys are too funny. Yes DTA had 73 hidden Mickeys, and NONE of them were obvious.

Phantasia has (at last count) 32 hidden Mickeys, and they do not take the form of flowers, or land masses, or bodies of water. They are all "hidden".......(that's kinda the point n'est pas?)

.............waits to see how many "hidden" Mickeys people actually come up with (cause all the Mickeys everyone here has described are not "hidden")

There is one in the flowers in the Dumbo screen. Is that one supposed to be a hidden one?

    EDIT - Erm, nevermind.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
You just stuck them inside buildings, you cheap bastard!
  • laz0rz%s's Photo
I think there's one on the roof of the Grim Grinning Gift Shop.
  • Meretrix%s's Photo
As tempting as that sounds Corky, they are all in "plain view". They just don't "jump out" at you like the flowers or the swimming pool at the Sorcerer's Resort.
  • Corkscrewed%s's Photo
Okay, so they are Hidden Mickeys in the contemporary sense of the word, not literally hidden. That's what I thought you had meant. :D

I guess I should put hidden stuff in my parks!

Forget the Hidden Mickeys for now.

In 30 minutes time there will be a Pictorial Update in the Phantasia archive.

Since there haven't been too many constructive comments as of late.....I will put this out to the Universe... If I do not receive at least 15 CONSTRUCTIVE comments about the screens thus far, I will not release any further screens until I release the park (in August). If it sounds like I'm emulating Corky and being an attention whore....you're right. My webshots archive gets blasted with hits from people looking at and downloading the pics. Yet, this little thread has seen virtually no hits. C'mon people. If ya like it say so. If ya hate it, say so (and tell me why ya hate it so that I can improve).

OK, cheers. I must now go and indulge in my only guilty pleasure....."The Apprentice".

I think its the best realistic park I have ever seem. Not to mention the Dinsey feel you get when looking at them. :D

    OMFG

it's perfect! I've always dreamed of meretrix doing halloween town! I LOVE TNBC and this! This is just wonderful.

Jack Skellington's Oogie Boogie adventure is really nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ROOVES ARE WICKED! I love how they look!

the tower is awesome! What are those items called?

I know I don't have any constructive criticsm. It's just so hard to find big fat flaws in your work. You're a perfect parkmaker.

Meretrix, not a lot of people are going to comment with constructive criticism because we don't know what to compare it to. It's hard with this park to say, "You should change that" because the park is so fantasy based that it all seems to work out. We don't really know what you could fix it to, what would look better in this kind of park. I mean sure we do in a realistic park, but that's because the building types are stuff that we've seen before and we know what looks better. Here because you're pioneering a new kind of atmosphere it's not as obvious.

To follow up on that, screens look incredible.

Amazing work! Keep it up! :yup:
