(Archive) Advertising District / Phantasia Theme Park & Resort

Ive been waiting this park since I first dogged your entrance screens, and you said my mind may get changed as this park progresses further.... well it has.

Phantom Manor looks awesome, only because it looks so real. It has a New Orleanesque architecture style, and it actually looks like a haunted mansion. Good job on that, the atmosphere for it is outstanding.

Devil's Mouse Chase also looks good, and the red walls give it a flavor that the other buildings dont have.

Snow White looks great as well, not much more to say on it.

The Castle looks phenomenal, probably the best castle i have seen pulled off. Great job.

Villains Shop looks dark and gloomy, like its suppose to.

The entrance to Adventure Bay or whatver look stunning (10/10), but the entrance to the Lost Island (dont know the name) needs some work, too dull (7/10).

Good job, overall so far its looking much better than Tilted Acres.

Funny, I'd say Phantom Manor looks more like DLR Haunted Mansion than DLP Phantom Manor.

Ok, so I have a VERY large problem with this park.

I just tried to open it, and wouldn't ya know it, I got an error.

I am missing an object file, and I think it may have accidentally been deleted when I was using that Object Checker program. Since that program does not send deleted files to the recycle bin on your hard drive, I have no way of getting it back.

If anyone out there has the file titled: "LBKVILBN/00000000F77D34BE", please send it to me. If no one has it, then Phantasia is lost again (3rd time) and I will NOT be restarting it as this is getting ridiculous.

Let me know. The fate of Phantasia is your hands now.

If you had Export Plug-ins checked in the options wouldnt it reinstall that object?

Ill have a look for that file you listed, ill see if its about. Ive just sent an overloaded object folder to the reycle bin, so i might have it in there.

Not from a scenario. I think the export feature only works with actual games, but I could be wrong. Anyway, yes I did have that checked.

Why don't you get smart, and save the park as a sv4 every time you quit playing for the day, and have it so that the scenery is included so things like this don't happen.

When in export custom scenery, it loads with the save game. Why dont you email it to someone to see if it opens for them?

Meretrix your problem is solved, i got the object. Now i just need your email address and i'll be happy to send it on over cause i don't wanna see this park scrapped.

Meretrix, maybe save your game with objects included

Or, if it happens again, as a last resort, you could just download all the RCT2 parks and scenery packs you have over again. It's gotta be in there somewhere.

Do you have a grouping of scenery items that start with those letters. If you do, could you send them to me. Cheers. This is very frustrating. And all because I was trying to clean up my ObjDat folder.

Ok you may get 2 eamils, one will not have the objects and one will because i accendetly pushed send the 1st time before attaching the zip but i went back and attached the file and resent it. Any more problems let me know cause i think you got more missing that i have.


EDIT: Opps forgot to edit post above. Oh well.

EDIT 2: FYI the objects you need are all from UCES so before you post again with another object problem i would suggust downloading UCES and then see if that works and if it does go to your game and save it with the export objects box checked and save a back up copy to so this doesn't happen again cause it would be a shame to see this park lost.
If that doesn't work and theres more objects missing then let me know and i'll be happy to help.

Can someone post a link to the UCES stuff? Or if it's easy enough to send me the scenery that starts with LBK, that would be much easier than having to clog up my folder with stuff I don't want.

Nvm theres isn't as much as i thought so i can fit it in 1 email.

Only thing I can tell is that those objects where made by Kaffe, but his site doesn't seem to work.....

You should backup your objdat folder first, and dont delete this for a couple of weeks, to make sure you wont need anything you deleted.. Glad your problem is fixed.
