Okay, heres the current status......this park will actually be a 60% solo & 40% RCTx group park.....Loopy is currently working on it, although he had a little delay, I did talk to him today and he will be done with it by April 15th.....then jon will have a guest spot.....I'm hoping to have the park completed by early May..... -

Sounds good to me, and you have just read my mind. I asked the question you just answered in your other parks thread. -

Most people have probably forgotten about this park (except for Panic...) But being my first solo ever, it has still has some sentimental value to me so I feel its worth finishing. Here is a screen of the splash boat ride, Island of Tenoch: Tlaloc's Temple, one of the most intricate themes I ever attempted.
Also, if there is anyone who may be interested in helping me finish this, please PM me and I will give it some consideration. Panic - my offer to you still stands. -

Yep. As usual it's very good. The colours are nice. I never have any gripes with any of your work and this is no exception. -

I'm liking that last screen as you have incorporated a vertical element into the theme. It would truly be amazing to stand there and gaze up at those buildings. The only problem I have is with the brick building on the right; its placement is good, but the white spaces between the bricks give it a cartoonish look that, as far as texture goes, doesn't fit with the rest of the screen. It looked nice in the screen of the Arrow corkscrew coaster, but here it looks a little too bold.
Also next to those bones on the far left of the screen, the side of that one square has the wooden texture while all around it is the earth texture. I was wondering if that's an oversight, or intentionally there, in which case it looks decent.
Anyway, I've sent you a PM as well. -

Whoa, now that I look at this park for the first time...I'm not much of a parkmaker myself...but this park really does inspire me. Your use of colors, landscaping, etc. is simply amazing. JKay, in my mind you are the best active parkmaker out there now, and certainly the most inspiring for me. -

Happy Thanksgiving!
In the past couple months JKay and I have been working on getting this park on the home stretch so that it can be finished up. This park will get finished and sent in, that I promise. Let me say it right now folks, I have been through the park many times while working on it and there are many things that are just jaw-dropping.
This is not one of them.
This is a Greek-isle style area that I've been working on for a bit now near that awesome water ride on that island showed previously. The tentative name for the area is Mandraki.
More screens to come, in time. -

I think that the buildings could do with a little more interest to them... more poles across them, linking them? I don't know... Also, more foliage wouldn't go amiss... Maybe a few more colours in the architecture too.
Glad to see this park back on the road... -

Everything looks good, except that row of black paths along the water. That's the only thing I don't like about it. -

I really like how it is... It has a simple yet original look... I love it! But I agree with Turtle, more foliage!!! -

There are many things that are just jaw-dropping.
I am in total agreeance with that statement Panic.
Anyway, that area does look good on it's own. Has a very greek feel to it.
However, I have seen the park and worked on it for a bit myself (sorry JKay), and it's not as detailed as some of the other areas IMO. I could be wrong though..it was many many months ago since I saw it. But it does look good nontheless Panic. Well done. -

Well, this park as you can tell has slipped out of the limelight in the past months. It's now over a year old, still going but albeit slowly. It was mostly my fault for working so slowly in the months I had it. The park has also undergone a few changes of hands. JKay and I hope that it can be finished someday but the prospects aren't looking excellent. The park isn't in my hands right now but we agreed that I might as well post this anyway, to let you guys know it's still going. It's pretty similar to what I posted above, another shot of Mandraki.
Enjoy.
