Do any nascar restaurants in the US have the entire restaurant covered in checkerboard themes?

Actually, yes.
The Nascar Cafe is a weird place like that.

Well after much thought and based on feedback, I have removed the main resort pool and will be replacing it with a new and I hope improved version. I hope to have an update to the park soon.

Why be pushed into changing something that you, the creator, likes/liked? It's not their park, it's yours, and if you like what you have, keep it. I think it's as good as it gets (the main one).

The main resort structure did not get replaced, just the pool. I am very happy with the the resort itself. The pool, although I thought it was good, could and will be better. Most of my stuff goes thru many versions before I'm happy with the final product. Just like the original entrance that you yourself said looked questionable and therefore I changed it because I too was not realy happy with it. I will not change things just to change them nor will I agree with all the suggestions but I do listen.

Update: NASCAR Experience has gone from solo park to a RCTM Club Park now that rwadams as agreed to work on it with me. The addition of rog to the project will really speed the process up and add his style to the park that I think will be a big plus in the final product. We hope to have an update in the next week or so.

Update:

rwadams has nearly completed the waterpark and has sent the park back to me to add the NASCAR Museum.

Below is a SS of the center portion of the waterpark by rwadams. Although the SS does not show much, trust me when I say that the waterpark really kicks butt and it just goes to show why I feel rwadams is the king of waterparks!



Next update will be of the nearly completed NASCAR Museum (presented by Nextel).

Ooooh....Pink!

i think a path change would do this screen great justice.

It's amazing to me how you can integrate a Nascar theme with a water section - and pull it off successfully. It's not very detailed, and it's nothing very innovative.. but your atmosphere is just so focused and organized.. you never forget the style.. and it flows throughout that whole screen. It's great.

im a big fan of NASCAR but that water section doesnt even have a feel of nascar about it, theres nothing that gives it that racey, fast, powerful feel, needs better themeing

Thats because you don't see the slides nor are we going to show them either but I will say they have the "NASCAR feel". Theres more to NASCAR than "racey, fast, powerful feel". Remember there are the teams, cars and colors from the cars and we feel the slides capture this aspect of NASCAR.

However I do feel that "racey, fast, powerful feel" will be a vital part of the park and we think we will be able to capture that aspect also.

I like that, very nice and realistic! The aqua gives it a cool, watery look. The landscaping looks a bit sloppy at some parts though, but the overall look is good.

Update;

Although not a big update as far as SS's go but the park is making great progress as the NASCAR Museum (Presented by Nextel) is now complete (SS's soon)

Below is a small portion of the main resort pool featuring a small set of water slides designed by myself. This pool has gone thru many changes based on early feedback and the latest version looks like it will stay.


Right now, rwadams has the park and will be working on his resort hotel over the next few weeks. Thanks again for the feedback.

the ground type is what gives them that feel.
