    Desktop icons are disgusting and the enemy. I have two 1920x1080 monitors and the rainmeter sidebar is almost too much clutter for me. I only have one shortcut in my taskbar, and that's Chrome - everything else lives in the Start Menu.

    Well I have an overclocked i7-4790k and 16GB of RAM, so if it's making a dent I can't really tell. I even run a few Rainmeter widgets on my Surface Pro 2 and never noticed anything slowing down or stuttering.

    mine scrolls through about 20 astronomical photos I chose, mostly from hubble. this one is the tadpole galaxy which is super cool, two galaxies collided and one got flung out by gravity into a long tail.
