well I needed a lap top for the univertisy and could order it trough a compagny and in that case I got 20% reduction .

post specs and cost. i bet i can find the same thing for less. even if it is a laptop.

probably less than half. didn't dell buy alienware. ubuntu is great, very user friendly so far. i mean, i had some problems with that Gnash flash software shit, but ever since i got regular macromedia flash installed it's been great.

It really is. Especially once you get to learn more about the command line and how to use it, it really is awesome.
