My mum has an Imac downstairs, The skin don't take up much memory actually, no idea how the skin works, plus i have loads of memory on my comp, don't know how much but quite alot. I'm not bothered by it at all.
The Apple has the programs list, and shutdown, about the comp etc. Desktop has the list of open windows. File has new folder, move to trash, open new short cut and so on. Edit is copy paste, undo and the likes. View has the display properties. Go has favourites and recent documents. Window minimize or show all windows. Help, Windows Help. The little plus shows you all the icons that would normally be at the bottom right. Speaker is obviously volume, the speech bubble is instant messengers. The monitor display properties. The other button ejects the drive.

Um, how does opening a few windows make the desktop messy? Messy is when there's tons of icons everywhere and stuff like that. Not the start menu and trillian.
