Agreed. Seriously, what's gonna happen? The desktop police are going to take your computer away! Some people can handle all those icons and some people can't. Most people don't care how "messy" their desktop is because they're used to it. Why force it on them?

Also, I would like to add that all those WindowBlinds, styleXP, DesktopX, etc. stuff is nonsense. Is it so hard to just use the regular Windows stuff instead of using all this fancy equipment and sometimes confusing interfaces?

I dont use any of them, i stick to normal windows theme, all those skinning programs take up a shitload of memory.

Also, im just teasing him. thought you would have realised that by now.

Wallpaper is a recent deviantART featrue. Style is HmmXp which looks much nice then regular windows themes and takes up no more memorary.

Chapel what program do you use to install your skins?

Its not the skin that takes the memory its the program.

Artist when you first get Windows installed the .dll in the System folder will only let you use one of the Windows theme but you can download a patch such as this. Which will patch it. Then you can go download visual styles and you should be all skinned up. BTW here is the deviantART section for visual styles; Visual Styles
