General Chat / If NE closed?

If NE closed... I'd have a little less motivation to finish parks.

Well, with RCTHQ closed down ( ), the only RCT site left is NE (RCT2.com just aint for me). What would happen if NE was closed, where would we all flock to? Where would we show our parks? Where would the big names go? Would any body quit the game?

I for one would not revert to RCT2.com, its just not my cup of tea to be honest, nothing against the site though, its a good set up and all. Would another site appear? I think the community would be better off if a secondary site was around.

What do you guys think?

I am aware of both, I would consider neither good. I think your missing the point that NE is the only place with good parkmakers, good spotlights, and free speech. NE can not be replaced, and the other sites in the community just dont have the same appeal. I would prolly just retire if NE closed, either that or make my own basic page of downloads.

There's plenty of good low-traffic 'sites' to flock to, some of which probably could use the hits.

I'd just go to rct2.com and my site (RCT Haven), but I'm at those two places + here anyway.

I think that if everyone flocked to rct2.com, VP would become a lot more competitive and be the new Spotlight.

I definately wouldn't join another RCT-related board. Possibly because I'm just too different from you crazy fucks. Well, I'm painfully similar to Radu, but that's another long tale of self-hatred entirely.
Plus, there's just no teenage chicks for me to exploit, which was certainly my main motivation of joining this shit-heap in the first place. It's a shame Rockchick, and Sunshyne, and Iris never gave me any lovin'. Well, Iris hit on me a few times, but that was as far as it went.

Personally, I tihnk it's the best coaster game site besides coastersims, the greatest of them all. Coastersims.com is only for NL, SM, and UR only, don't bother going their.

Well, DNet had two of those three before NE came along (Good Spotlight/Good Parkmakers). I don't want to see NE shutdown any more than anyone else, but if NE came along and added Free Speech to the community, than maybe the next 'dynasty' will add something else to better the community?

Who cares, NE isn't going anywhere soon, and if iris decides to leave, he'd find someone else to take over.

IMO, i'd like to see iris step down to a "less crazy" role, I for one would like to see him making more parks, yet still have the site up.
