Cats are indipendent creatures. They dont give a crap about you. They would just rather be let out into the woods and care for themselves.
Dogs can actually be a friend. If treated right, they can offer a faithful companionship, and sort of just be there for you.

I have to vote null. I like both cats and dogs. Dogs want your attention all the time, cats not nearly as much.
I have three cats that will jump in my lap to get my attention. Most of the time they want me to scratch them around the head and neck. Once I'm done, they either jump down or just lie there to sleep for a while.
My three dogs want my attention, mostly just to scratch them where it itches and they can't reach. -

I resent that entirely. A cat remains your companion forever, until its death. A cat will be in the room if you are. A cat will sit up to the table if you are. A cat will be by your side all day long. And they really don't care if they don't go outside, because as long as you treat them well, they would rather be with you. A dog is easy to be a companion with. You have to earn a cats respect.Cats are indipendent creatures. They dont give a crap about you. Cats for me, when i'm up really really late at night, the cat is usually sitting on my lap when i'm on the computer. keep her company when she's on her night patrol. -

I have the best of both worlds. A cat who thinks he's a dog. lol.
He's the most playful cat ive ever known. I also think cats in genral hae a way of sensing your emotions like if your upset they'll come up and let you stroke them etc. i love my cat. I also love dogs. Dont make me choose!
Actually, I wont. I am neither here nor there. -

Dogs are cool and i would like to have one but i just like cats more. There easier to take care of, they know if your sad, mad , happy. ect., they keep you company, and other things that have been mentioned, and all you gotta do is treat them right. -

Cats. Partly because our family has a cat since two weeks back, but also for all the good reasons given in some of the above posts. -

only you would come up with a topic like this.
Dogs, mainly cuz im allergic to cats and my grandma's cat has schratched the shit out of me.
My dog is great though. -

Neither. Cats are sneaky little bastards and give me allergies, dogs are a nuisance and are dirty. -

Cats because I like giving them cat nip and watch them roll around on the floor. My cat likes to fetch fake mice too. I throw a mouse across the room and she comes back with it in her mouth. -

Dogs basically worship humans. Cats don't worship anyone. They're content with thinking they are GODS. I like the was cats think... like me!
