    Hello
I started this project a while ago.
It is a snow themed park and is finished for about 15%.
I would like to know what you think about it.

Not bad. I like it. The buildings are very neatly done, beside that ENORMOUS entrance. ;)

Propz for not using any Custom Scenery, this shows that you can still make a great park without them. :yup:

    Good Work!

Very Nice! The buildings are good and i like the huge entrance. Props to you on no custom scenery. :)

The architecture is chaotic, sometimes a bit too much. I like the entrance to the park, and the entrances to all the rides, and everything's got a very strong snow theme indeed. The things you could improve on is to get a better range of colour, and to get rid of those hedges and shrubs on the wooden blocks (plants don't grow on wood!), and perhaps to reduce the chaosity around your buildings. It's good sometimes, but there are some minor flaws that make it less good in places, but what there's good, and you should definitely carry on with this to make an excellent snow themed park :)

Looking very nice. Like the snow section on the extended Euroscape. Give your buildings more room for the first screens though, as you did in the bottom two.

I like evrything except the way you have squashed all the buildings too close together space them out a bit and i think that bobsled should be a different colour.

    Keep it up.

Wow, i really like the entrance, wonderful!

The rest looks good as well.

Looks like a nice, solid runner up spot.

Nice way to show custom scenery isn't need for a good park. :)

I like it alot but it seems too chaotic. The archy is too overwhelmed with plants. The entrance is too big. The rest of it is just... wow.

Looks ok but i dont think the roofs on the buildings really suit the snow/ice theming.

I love winter themes. Everyone always says "I normally hate [snow/ice/winter] parks, but this one's great!" But I'm a sucker for the genre to begin with.

Anyway, this is well done. Lots of height variation to create a truly 3D effect. The buildings are a bit cluttered at times, but in a way that helps to advance your "bustling winter village" feel, which I like.

I'm not a big fan of the shrubs and flowers growing out of wooden roofs, but that can be forgiven since you're going with all original scenery (!).

The entrance is my least favorite part, but I don't think the size is a problem. You might try making it a little more coherent, so it looks more like one building instead of a pile of buildings.

    Keep it up.

It's good to see other attempts at snow themes, for awhile there I thought I was the only one. Anyway, your archy is solid with terrific variations in heights and shows you definitely have some architecture skills. However, a couple things that bug me are....either snow has fallen or it hasn't...in this case it probably has so I would replace some trees with snow-covered....another thing is the random shrubbery coming out of balconies / roofs just doesn't look right....but overall an excellent park with very eye-catching buildings....

    Thanks for the replies.
    Some answers to your questions:

Everybody who thought that the shrubs and flowers growing out of wooden roofs were not good looking:
Yes I will change it :)

The people who thought that the entrance wasn't that good:
I know that the entrance is an 'enormous pile of buildings'. I will maybe change it to make it look better....

    The others:
I will think about your suggestions and, maybe change it.

And yes it's true that I haven't selected any custom scenery :yup:

I will show some new screens when the park is finished for about 50%

A wooden coaster which goes through an entire landscape. I don't want to show to much about the coaster.

What do you think about it ??
  • Corkscrew%s's Photo
I would change the white of the wooden coaster into brown, that colour just doesn't really fits for a woodie. Except that, lovely screenshots :)
  • Turtleman%s's Photo
Screens look very nice. I love the architecture. I think you should change the red flowers to a blue though. Wooden coaster looks interesting. Keep up the good work!
  • super rich%s's Photo
I can see all of your buildings arnt as crowded together now thats good.
  • Silenced%s's Photo
Wow. The buildings looks alot better after not being crowded up so much. That wooden coasters colors shouldnt be changed because they white makes it stand out rather than be a dull wood color in the landscape. Also, to add a bit more to the snow feel, I suggest you take and put down the snow/ice ground type in some spots so it doesnt feel like only the trees give it the snow theme. Great work.
