Stupid would be calling it a TOP 10 if he'd only seen/downloaded/based it off of say...7 parks for example. In that event, it would be a TOP 7.

The math is quite simple really...he's seen 10 parks, and wants to formulate a list of 10...that sounds like the perfect mathematical ratio...if you think about it...

Anyway, these lists are only as "accurate" as anything subjective can be, and that's for the poster (member) only.

Personally, I don't make these, 'cos I see no need to rank them in my mind....I either really like it, really don't, or it is inbetween. Applying a number won't make me like it any better/worse, it'll just cause frustration in trying to arbitrarily decide which I'd like slightly more or less. Besides, I like the #7 better than number #6, but yet that would make it a worse park. You see? Not for me.

Oh well, I must say that I do like some of the parks mentioned quite a bit, and others just don't appeal to me...real specific, I know.

Well the point of making lists isn't so much the final ranking. Making the list is fun because you have to look at the parks again and think about them. It gets you to look more closely than you otherwise might. Once you go through the trouble to make a list, it all changes as soon as you write it down anyway. Everytime I make a list I want to start changing things immediately so the final list isn't really that important. I like a lot of parks and in a way they're all number 1 on my list while I'm looking at them.

I've put a lot of thought into mine, so I'll just go ahead and say that the ones I picked were the ones that after looking over them a few times, I just sat back and said "wow".

5) Troy
-At the time I viewed it, lets just say I was blown away, especially by the collabo map. Amazing hotels, theming, and especially landscaping to make a surreal (except it feels so damn real) atmosphere.

4) ALE
-I almost cried when I saw this. Poseiden's rage is still my favorite giga, and the liquid, THE LIQUID! I couldn't beleive the hacking, and when you zoom out and you see all of the rocks and water, man.

3) Mantis's NE Invitational Age of Empires
-The newest park on my list, I was stunned by Mantis' variety of themes, and all of em pulled off amazing. I mean, a perfect mideival area, then some weird biodome area, and a mongolia area that leaves you with your jaw on the floor.

2) Auroras Bay
-Bam. Terras Labs. Ya. And the rides and theming have this feeling that just grabs you and says "LOOK HOW PRETTY". Other than the rides, that is what I feel, its "pretty". Sounds dumb, but what a good looking park.

1) Tropico Horizons
-Same "pretty" ness as Auroras bay which Fatha's detailed architecture and especially his treeing and landscaping has, but with even better rides. Love this park.


NOTE: I guess I like pretty parks with lots of rides.

Now that I look back on it, that was kind of stupid to make a top ten list when I've only seen ten parks. But it was a good list.

My faves are most probably the older parks that I came across before I even knew NE existed, because they're the one's that stick in my mind, such as Mountain Beach by Mala, and Funkytown by someone (I forget).

Mala and Butterfinger get my vote...
