Well, everyone has their personal favorites in RCT. What are yours? With everyone bringing this up lets just reviel our line ups (with expinsions please) and let the parks speak for themselfs.

20)SAP Caticlism (Blind Guardian and Coaster Ed)- The only Colaboration on my list and a great dark park. The atmosphere and theming tosses you to the possable future after a nucular war. Or something else catostrofic and terrible. The best dark-themed park found anywhere and it even packs a Sandstorm Rally successor in Tecktonic Ridge. Eds work here is amazing, his best. Blind Guardian's work is so utterly perfect in-and-of itself, it's just amazing.

19) Ages Of Empires (mantis)- The only NE invitational park on my list and the only one to really blow me away. The enterence was good but the park just kept building on it. The Medievel area and the Alien Factory seal the deal. Perfect colors, great theming and top notch archetecture. Great stuff.

18) Florida DisneySea (vTd)- A park that has somethings that can't be topped (Mystery island) but is outdated in many ways. Just magic at time though. I love it, just not as much as many other things.

17)Arnos Springs Resort (roomraider/ Gutterflower)- Hacks, coasters, naturistic theming. I love it. roomie really breaks it out with his 2nd spotlight winning park set. Simply amazing. Prolly the 3rd best coaster line up yet and just soooo much stuff. It's overwelming and I love it.

16)Egyptopia (CoasterEd)- Many people will argue that this park desirves a higher place. Whatever. There are too many places in it that simply lack the level of detail we've come to expect in this day-in-age. Sandstrom Rally is still the coolest consept ride ever!

15) Disneyland Mid-America (Areo 21)- The most realistic RCT/LL Disney park ever. Perfected atmosphere. I still can't believe that this didn't win spotlight. It's just not right... Imagination only proves just why Areo was the Disney king (Untill Meritrix).

14) Universals Outrage (x-sector)- Um, lets see. There are two areas in the park that put in on this list. Atlantis Base and Port of Discovory. Atlantis Base has that glassy, shiny ambence that can't be beat and POD is just screwed up. Colors are freaky and so awasome, and the details throughout are just amazing. Great stuff just alittle to subital in AB and too out-there in POD.

13)Aroura's Bay (Pyro Penguin)- The labs! Teal, Glass... Good lord why can't everything look this good??? Unfortionently the park's enterence seems terribly simple, plain and rushed. A nice overall park with a spirt... That's more than alot can say.

12) Walt Disneys Tilted Acres (Meritrix)- Um. DISNEY! That's about it. I've never been to a disney park but this makes me want to... Simply the most perfect Disney RCT creation in the realism department.

11) Busch Gardens Litchfield (RRP)- The best enterence area i've ever seen and a great coaster collection too... The atmosphere feels very "Busch" and the treeing is tastful. The whole map just seems a bit rushed next to many of the others on this list...

10) Disneys Forgoten Kingdom (Natelox)- This single-map spotlight just doesn't have the power of DDI. Face it, Nate succeeded at building a far more refined park with this one, however it falls to being boring in places. Fun rides, the one Launched adventure ride and the mine train come to mind. Nice, just not enough.

9) Euroscape (Butterfinger)- Although Iris regards this park higher than a large number of those to come it doesn't desive the top five reconition that it gets. Butterfinger really manages amazing parts of a park here. Major parts though are much less fun (to me) and the coaster colloction wasn't my favorite. The atmosphere is great at places, and non-existant in others. It's inevitable and yet wonderful.

Disneys Discovery Island (Natelox)- Although a great park in it's own right there is only so much that a resort map can do and the main map pulls it's own wieght, when put against easier competition this would rise to a much higher place. Exciting and Powerful, just looks rushed at points. I don't know how to describe what it is....

7) Tropico Horizens (Fatha' Grinch)- Two parks in my top ten? Fatha' really has some wierd magic. The enterence area grows on me everytime I view it but there is something lacking... The line up can't touch TC and there is just something... Err. Still the RCT1 park with the best architecture ever created.

6) Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Nevis)- The best consept park of all time. Looks just like an ancent city pullled out of the ocean, if i ever saw one. The architecture isn't perfect but everything elce is... Nothing else compares to the originality of this map. Imagine if Atlantis rose right now... This is what it would look like.

5) Rivers Of Baybolon (SaCoasterFreak)- RCT2 parkmaking at it's best. As much as I loved this park when it was realised it's grown on me like a bad weed. The Baybolon enterence area looks better everytime I look at it. The Lumia (sister island to Atlantis) area was love at first sight and has never faded. The Mexicon area used to be my 2nd fav. in the park but even though it seems better constantly Baybolon simply blew it off. Even Asia is looking better and better. Lovely.

4) Mount Sinister (Mala)- Mala takes a spin at "normal parkmaking" and hits a bulls-eye, with a twist. Probably the 2nd best coaster line-up in recorded history (Soul Harvester, -Thunderstruck-, Two Forces and Demi God) and some of the best bright, calming, charming theming alongside some of the most Creepy, sinister and downright scary... A perfect mix that only Mala could pull off.

3) Tropico Cove (Fatha' Grinch)- Classic, Vintage Grinch. This park has the best coaster line-up of all time (of what's released anyway) great atmosphere and just all those little details I love. Sure Tropico Horizens has better architecture but there is something missing that this old park had loads of. I don't know what it is, but I love it.

2) Universals Caribbean Seas Resort (Butterfinger)- Many people will ultamently disagree withme here but i just have to let it out. UCSR is the best piece of Butterfinger around. Sure there are parts I don't like (the suspended coaster) but the atmosphere is heavenly, and there are three maps of it! Lovely

1) Sea World Atlanta (RRP)- Colors! Everything is confortable, never overwelming or drab. Everything is just right how it should be... Just the perfect merge of everything RCT.


Remeber these are just opinions. You can go and correct me but don't start a flame war (you know who you are).

Your list is missing one thing SFEC.

Euroscape, Aero's Wormwood, Gardens of Desires, Tilted Acres.

I don't do RCT 1.... and for some reason I didn't like Rivers of Babylon.

Thanks for the READ, ride6, although I think egypTopia is the most detailed thing there is throughout the whole park.

I could never rank these, but here are my favorite parks, I guess:


~Disney Dreams- This is just the perfect style of park for me. Ambitious, beautiful, creative, and realistic. What more could I ask for?
~Troy- I think everyone always seems to forget this park when they make a list of their favorite parks, perhaps just becasue the boss made it. Downright amazing, especially considering how long ago most of it was made.
~CDS- For some reason I actually liked this park more than FDS. Very realistic, low key, and down to earth kind of park. A park you can really "get into".
~DDI- This park had the same effect on me as DD, just not quite to the same extent.
~The Westcoast (nate)- Even after all this time, The Westcoast still has that magical effect it had on me when it first came out. I wouldnt regard this as one of the best of all time, just one of my favorites..... if that makes any sense.
~TH, TC, AB, ROB- All the regular list contenders. I liked these a lot, I just dont quite consider them "worship worthy", like many do.

I don't see the magic in SFEC... That's all.

I just reloaded RCT1 a few days ago... I'm having quite a bit of fun downloading all these old (or new) parks... and I really like and respect all of them. An order would be (keep in mind I've not downloaded every park... this list will change)

1) Moonlight Magic
2) Tropico Horizons
3) Raindrop Riviera
4) Sea World Atlanta
5) IOA Hollywood

My Overall List (RCT1 & RCT2) would be:
1) Rivers of Babylon
2) Moonlight Magic
3) Euroscape
4) Raindrop Riviera
5) Sea World Atlanta

That doesn't make sense, Valp, but whatever.

I think Euroscape is a little overrated....I still think The Outer Banks/Sandcastle Shores are the best things Butter's done.

Keep in mind that I've not downloaded even 5% of all the RCT1 parks...

But I downloaded UCSR this morning, and it's my new #2.

(BTW- I didn't include any of the hi-rollers; otherwise, Crepe Myrtle would definitely be way up there...)

It doesn't make sense that your favourite two rct parks are Moonlight Magic , then Tropico Horizons, then Raindrop Riviera, yet your 'overall' list only has MM and RR, without Tropico Horizons.

USCR...I don't like the park, personally. The theming is messy, the rocks are just UGLY and it has none of the charisma of TOB. It's worth it for the Jurassic Park area, but I don't know what possessed butter to make things like the loony/indy areas

You need egypTopia and A:LE, my friend.

Oh... haha, now I see... I accidentally left off TH on the full list, and I'm still getting around to downloading all the spotlights.
