I agree with Metal, the experiences I've had with black people have, for the most part, been bad. I haven't met all the black people in the world, so I can't say that all are bad, plus one of my friends was black and he was nice. Overall though, I would say that my experiences with black people fit the sterotypes pretty well.


Unban Metal!

Again, Metal is only a racist in the fact that he discriminastes. And even then it must only be to a small degree if he has black friends. He is not a racist in its orriginal sense that he thinks that blacks are genetically inderior to whites.

I must agree that the media has caused for a lot of negative out looks upon the black community.,

I also agree about the tests, its bullshit. What you get from those tests should be based on individual merit. That bullshit is special rights, not equal rights.

Wow Metal you are sad. I know many African Americans and only one of them pulls shit like that. I'm from a place that has many mexicans and asians that try to act "gangsta" or "getto asian" or stupid shit like that, but so do a lot of white people. I've seen white people try to act "ghetto" by pullin their shorts down adn saying thier part mexican (even though they are plainly white) The point is, people in every race will act like that (I'm not saying everyone) so if your going to be a racist asshole like that, you might as well be racist of everyone, including white people.

First of all, Merry Christmas everybody. Second of all, what the hell is going on here? Was Metal actually banned over this? I certainly hope not. That isn't the NE I know. That sounds a lot like another place many of us remember. Stating your opinion has always been acceptable here. The lack of censoring is about letting people communicate however they choose to. Nobody should be banned over stating their opinion. Doc, I can't believe you were ever a Mod anywhere because it seems to me that you do nothing but stir up trouble. Sure you want to have some fun, but you don't need to do it at the expense of other people. Maybe I missed something, I don't know. But this kind of thing is not acceptable to me if this is what happened.

Well, I had more I wanted to say but I'll just stop for now. Everybody is racist to a certain extent whether they realize it or not. It's something everybody has to work on. Metal is angry, and that's okay. Being angry is okay. At least he's acknowledging that anger though and not trying to hide it. If we tell people why we're upset, than maybe something can be dne about it. Don't be so quick to label and critisize. There are a LOT of problems in the world and Metal being upset is not something to get worked up about. I hope you don't stay angry forever Metal, because there are good people out there you may not have met and if you allow yourself to stay angry than that will color everything else you see in a negative way.

Metal was banned because he was always annoying to people, this was just an excuse to ban him.

There was a poll to ban Metal or not. But he should be back soon.

Metal never said he was superior to blacks, nor did he say that he hates blacks. He said that alot of the stereotypical black people in his area irritate him.


I can kind of relate to that. In new zealand we have the indigenous Maori people. They're allowed more rights cause they were here first, they get money for things that happened hundreds of years ago - they talk all "gangsta" - yet i'm still friends with loads of them. While alot of them irriatate me because they're so "tuff" i don't hate them. Its the same with Metal, and i think you guys are reading into it to much, because he specifically used the term blacks.

It is not wrong to hate people who are jerks and steal things that happen to be black.

It is wrong to hate black people you have never met, discriminate against them, assume that a black person took your CD player (or sorry, walkman I guess they don't have CD's in the south yet), or prejudge any person you meet because they happen to share the same race as other people who are jerks and steal things and happen to be black.
