(Archive) Advertising District / Bayfront Park

Next is the Everglades, its really a dull pic, but the glades are dull, and at lease i dont think this theme has ever been done befor. to try and spice things up im probly gona make that lily object re-mapable, so i can use some of the many greens the game has.

Well, I wouldn't say never.

But then, you know, what theme hasn't been done?....

yeah it does look nice and i have seen pics of pompeii looking like that so im convinced.
The entrance looks great as you say its now complete.

Ok here are my last tester screens, i hope i can get alot of feedback on them, coz i have not started any of the sections yet, and any advice would be helpful

I like Hurricane Highlands. The Alien screen I don't really like. Looks like one big high-tech Christmas box...sorry. I really love this park though.

hurricane highlands looks great! very destructive and looks really realistic, the other one looks good, nice tree placement. but the alien screen, acually looks pretty neat, and i like it, nice and colorful!

What do aliens have to do with Florida, or Miami in particular (other than the illegal aliens, which are everyone. Badabing).

But yeah, the Hurricane one looks sick, except for your interpretation of a sidewalk.

I only like the Hurricane pic, but I must say, those custom trees you edited suck. They look really out of place. But the rest is nice.

Whether or not the aliens theme really belongs there, the screen you posted of it sucks. If you do an entire theme like that, I'm not sure how great the park would turn out overall.

And I'm not too fond of your entrance, but I'll live I guess.

I think the alein area doesnt look that great i know
you can do better than that Kumba .

I like the other two though but yeah the custom trees
dont fit in the hurricane section.

I love the amount of detail that you put into your work and this is a fine example of just that.

I like the 2 of the 3 screens. The 3rd one(alien) i don't really like at all. It looks too cartoony mainly because of the colors. If an alien came to earth with those colors i'd be like "WTF?!" Imo it looks like a toon area more than alien. Just play around with the colors till you get that alien feel, remember to make that area look futuristic rather than cartoon futuristic. Can't wait for more screens, ecspessialy if there rides.

Let me just say again this park is NOT meant to be 100% like Miami in all the themes, Alien, Forest and Pompeii will be nothing like Miami.

I rushed that alien screen big time, so i cant blame you guys for hateing it, it will be bright and absract tho, but please dont judge by that pic.

and i will see what i can do with the trees.

New Sreens of the Alien Section, i think they are good, but im not sure about the path yet?

ooooooo!! me likey! love the plants and the building is mouth-wateringly good. coaster looks interesting. and im the same with you on the paths, i just dont know about them, but so far, they sorta work, IMO. cant wait to see more. love the work so far.

But ya, the screens still look really cool. Just get rid of the ugly dark green.

The platns are uba cool and the building also shows some nice clolor variation.

But the only thing im unsure about is the spainish roof
other than that alls good.

Wow. I love it. The colours! The detail! The flowers and plants! The 1/4 tiles!
The coaster looks interesting as well.

Maybe mix in some martian ground in there, for a even more "alien-colourful" look. On the path, add some lamps.

Keep it up!

It's very eye catching so far, but a couple of things bother me.

Please change the green on top of the roof to a different colour, it just looks out of place.

Also, i would change the colours on the coaster, it may blend too well with the area. Something a bit more striking.

This is great work though, so keep it up.
