(Archive) Advertising District / Should All Disney Park Topics Be Closed?

So, what do you think? This is in light of the recent MantisFan/John Disney outlash.

Leave them all open? Close all of them (even mine)? Close some, leave others open?


Also, lets see how serious this topic is taken.

I think that's ridiculous. Just becuase some people think others aren't worthy enough to make Disney Parks, or its not original, or whatever.

Let the park's quality speak for it, not the name.

Granted, originality plays a part, its no reason to close any topic.

I vote absolutely no. Don't put other people to shame for someone else's problems.

Your going to get a ton of "fanboy" response on this one. I think we have been through all this before. This is an Advertiseing District, that means anyone who wants to advertise thier park can and should. Those of you who don't like Disney, please go look at another topic, but I for one am glad that players are at least trying to make themselves better by trying harder themes.

Yes and No.

Yes, because to manke a realistic Disney Park, you have to continue ideas from the original source. You can't stray too far from the Disney Theme, otherwise it doesn't make sense. There's not much 100% originality, if you know what I mean.

and No, because some people obviously like making Disney Parks, and who are we to stop people posting about a new park they've made, just because we don't like it? We might aswell stop posts on Six Flags Parks, or Busch Parks, because they're the same thing too basically.

Other than that, I voted YES because I think so far, all the Disney Parks, apart from Disney Dreams, suck (sorry - my opinion, not speaking for anyone else).

As for the park forum closing. Nah, leave them open. I will say this though. All of the BS that's been happening around here because of Disney Park Mania, has really soured the Disney experience for me (sort of like going to a real Disney park and paying $26 for a churro). That said, there will be no further updates concerning Phantasia until it's sent to Iris as a contender for Spotlight.

Too much headache for what is supposed to be a game.

I say close every other one, just for the hell of it, and see who bitches. Then, 3 days later, reopen them, and close the other ones.

Closing then is like saying that only Parkmakers have the right to make an rct or rct2 park, so I voted 'NO'.

I dunno what all everyone is bitching about, i mean come on it is fucking computer game , don't let it ruin your REAL lifes. If this were in real life then ya we'd have somthing to bitch over, but it's not. If people make shitty parks then who cares. Also this whole tarnishing Disneys name goes is a bunch of BS, how are people doing that? To do that it would have to be REAL and it's not. As far as my parks goes.... It shall continue, with updates, probably not as frequently though. As you can see i am not letting this BS take over me like some of you have, (no offense). Just get over it and get on with your REAL lifes! My vote NO.
