Don't assume a spotlight means automatic popular material. I can appreciate it for the scope of the entire thing, but it was bad.^thats what i assumed...i like it...i guess it was good enough for spotlight so...ya...

2x2 can be good.........if you don't use it to much and you don't make it totally dull. Unfortunatly, i see your park doing both. It will be overused. Infact, it has been overused. I can't count the amount of times i've seen a screenshot almost identical to that. And it is dull....any originality in there at all? No...not that I see.whoa whoa whoa!
everybody settle down...let me explain a little:
this was in no way intended to be based upon the acual city of Venice...it was late, and wasnt really thinking strait...this park does however have some roman flare to it...(columns, marble walls, ect.) i will also try to tie-in some roman names...as far as my "2x2" style goes: i like it. imo i think it looks really good. its really either you hate it or like it. like euroscape i guess...except everyone loves that park...
well, i hope this clears things up for you all. and for the name: i will think of a new one...but i am open to suggestions, so feel free to help...
and my mexicana gardens is still up and running, and i am still continuing with it...
two new screens in the album! scroll 2 the top of page one!
and thanx for all the good replies, who ever said they liked it...
*phew*
Lastly, good replies aren't necesarily the ones saying that they liked it. Good replies are those that give you useful feedback.

If you say the word "archy" one more time, i will strangle you and take your soul down below.I thought euroscape was a great park and the archy was fine imo.

Um... erm... yeah. There's nothing to it. No landscaping/land variation, no real "apparent" theme, no real noticable rides... Even the coasters seem to be lacking. The architecture looks all identical, sans the three separate color schemes. It doesn't appear to be Roman/Venetian themed nor are there any apparent "Roman flares". It's really just "bleh", IMO. -

Hmmmm, looks almost nothing like the venice I've seen in other pictures, needs a whole ton more canals! and foliage! and the archy is wayyyy too repetitive! I'm sorry but you didn't really capture a venician/italian feel, I do like the LIM spaghetti bowl though... Oh and mix your paths, trust me, it would look a lot better! -

Sorry Steven..
But that overview sucks.
Nothing there, looks like no atmosphere, easily rushed, LIM too plain. -

It's monotonous and boring, there's no atmosphere, the coaster(s) are low-grade, and it looks nothing like a Roman City or Venice.
I think that about summs it up. -

It could be worse. Some n00bs at rct2.com has started saying "archary" instead...
The park looks boring, monotone, and flat, and lacks any real meaning. Just a lot of pointless identical 2x2's thrown together. -

How the hell do you get that from architecture. I'm not surprised, actually. It could be worse. Some n00bs at rct2.com has started saying "archary" instead...

Personally I dont think 2x2 is that bad. If you use it right and mix it up a bit, it could come out pleasantly nice. Just work on it and add a bit more variation to it because I must say, the continuous brick is getting boring. Hey, you'll never know, it can turn out to be good in the end.
