Corkscrewed, this goes out to you. You started this Disney madness at NE, and it has gotten out of hand.
Seriously though, the park sounds interesting. The castle needs a lot more work. Way more detail.
Keep us posted. -

I like the entrance, except for the exposed white bar in the back. You should put a pirate theme structure on top with windows in the front. Make the top of it textured as well. Keep it to a single row of windows, making the building look like an arch.
The windows on the castle look too random and it's not high enough. In Disneyland and WDW you can see the castle from Main Street USA.
Shouldn't Snow White Castle be white? -

The castle looks nice for you're first park, but it does need more detail. Try and vary some of the colors maybe and experiment with different textures, the egyptian looking bricks tend to look nice on castles. -

Yeah I will definatly add more detail to the castle, probobly some scenery items im working on right now.
And that white bar on the entrance is probobly where the train station will be, if I decide to add it into the park.
And it techincally wasn't always her castle. It was Prince Charmings, Snow White just "married" into it, :-) -

I wouldn't say Cork started it. Check the spotlight page: Disney's Beautiful World, California Disney Sea, Florida Disney Sea, Disney Dreams, Disney's Discovery Island. All of those came out before Corkscrewed started his park. It's only Disney advertising that has really picked up in recent months. It isn't really fair to pin all the blame for the "Disney conspiracy" on him though...just most of it -

Wow....not too sure how to take that.....They want to follow the master, but most of them keep falling off the cliff.

Cute, no. Lacking in immaculate Disney detail, yes. Not being rude. Merely saying that to call that a centerpiece castle, you need to put TONS more work into it, especially if it's Snow White's Castle. You MUST do justice to the first Disney full length feature.
And Coaster Ed, you are correct. I should have been more clear. Corky started the RCT2 Disney madness around here. I mean, WDE was what inspired me to do Tilted Acres, so, there ya go.
I will give props out to Aero for his Disney RCT1 work, as it was and is phenomenal.
Sorry, back on topic. I do agree that maybe Snow White's Castle should be white, with really light blue accents. It would also play into the "cloud" motif quite nicely.
P.S. Why is Fantasyland off in the corner?
Shouldn't it be directly behind the castle? Not judging, just asking. -

Hopefully I don't fall in the "most".

Although this will sound hypocritical to the extreme because I am doing the Magic Kingdom, why not stray away from the Magic Kingdom theme? Theme it to different movies... do a Disney Studios, something out of the ordinary... -

Well I do have many other more original plans. But as I said, It is my first real park. I'm still experimenting with styles and trying to find my niche in the park making community.
I'm not trying to make a masterpiece here, Im trying to make a succesful first park.
I'm already working on a more detailed castle with custom scenery, I'm not sure abotu making it a white castle. The castle in the logo is the only picture refence to Snow White's castle I could find, so I'm loosely basing it off that. -

Exactly what i am doing for my 1st disney park. Once mine done and if i do one again, it will be very diffrent from the magic kingdom park with new themes, ideas, the works.Well I do have many other more original plans. But as I said, It is my first real park. I'm still experimenting with styles and trying to find my niche in the park making community.
Anyways...
Nice park you have going but, The main street station needs some work. Also it needs way more detail. Try to make it look more 1920's usa. The castle needs way more datail and needs to be a bit more compact than that spread out look. Also the colors should be blue and white if you are going to do a magic kingdom park. Good Luck with this park.
Nice park sign and logo. Maybe you could start making some custom scenery for the rct 2 community. -

That is the type of mentality, telling people what it should be, that will make all the Magic Kingdom parks look identical. Let him experiment, the park should be his own interpretation of the Magic Kingdom, not yours. Although, if you are going to say it is a Cinderella castle, you already have a pre-concieved notion what it will look like because of the real life counterparts. Perhaps a different theme? Also the colors should be blue and white if you are going to do a magic kingdom park.

A definite improvement. I don't like the yellow turrets, but maybe they'll grow on me. I do however covet those groovy castle windows you have. Did you make them? -
RaoulXpres Offline
Im sure they will. Blue and yellow are kind of the park's colors. After all, it's based on Snow White.
And yeah, the windows are some custom scenery I made along with the Park sign. There will probobly be many more I make for the park. -

you guys are right about disney maddness, I see 4 different disney parks in the top five parks (order wise) in this forum :::
not bad, the castle could be a bit taller. -

The Entrance Picture (Page One First Post) has been updated. Just image a train station on that big white block.
Also, I started work on Main Street. The name might be changed because it does have a different theme than most Disney parks. I don't wanna blatantly say the theme, but the browns and tans and bright colors are for a reason, which most people will get when I release the new name of it.
