Wow.. This is a nice park. I love it.. Just that all it needs is a classic styled train and you'd be set. Keep up the good work man.

    (Wow. I actually posted!)

I think this park looks really nice, and I definitely like the ideas that you have been incorporating, but for being such an asshole, your stuff isn't that brilliant.

When did I ever claim to being good at the game, enough to say my work is "brilliant" or anything like that?

It's an old picture. It has most definately been updated with some surroundings, and I think I put a new color scheme on it. And the supports were changed a bit on the side to make it more realistic. I shall post the updated one with the next update.

No, you kind of misunderstood my point. I'm not saying you're terrible, I really like the park. I also like the parks that you critique, however I just thought that when someone is such a dick while critiquing others they might be great themselves. But I guess I was wrong.
  • Turtle%s's Photo
Well now, that was uncalled for...

In my opinion, Brent is never an "asshole" when critiquing, it's just that he speaks his mind. If there is a problem, he, and anyone else for that matter, is allowed to pick up on it. That's what the Ad. District is all about - posting to get ideas for improvements etc.

It's a lot better than someone saying "perfect" or "looks great". That doesn't help at all.

The winds are starting to pick up around the park these days, and snowfall is expected soon. More buildings have been completed, and a new ride's been added, "Dust Devil." Ground work shall begin on the latest coaster sometime later today. Plans to release a new shot of the park will also come either later today, or during the weekend.

A special event is also in the works for people who have been helpful throughout the parks construction. Hint. Hint.

Got an invitation from Knott's.....and was I stunned! The realism put into this park is just fab00lus. :0 Everything is just so nice! It took me 10 minutes to just see the whole Western themed section. ;) If you got the invitation, you would know what I mean. :X

One thing Brent never changed from the RCT's version is the place of the woodie. ;) Its still in the same location from the original version, with the same layout [or no? Kinda forgot the original version]. :D

I love it, really, it will be one REALISTIC park [how many are there?] when its all finished.

Seeing this park, I do believe that it is of more quality than what is shown.(If you can read properly, you'll understand this. I cater to an educated "reader-audience".) The park's enterance is very life-like, and I enjoy the attention to individual buldings. Since you are focusing on individual buildings, you can work with more quality and ensure that each building is solid. By solid, I mean that each building has reality and depth, while still looking to an extent better than real-life buildings.

The coaster that was formerly known as Brown recluse Tragedy is very decent, though there was nothing of particular value that made the coaster stick out. The station to the coaster was very well done, and the queue line was brilliant in taht it stuck out enough from the coaster and the scenery around it that you could see it, while conforming to the theme. For the coaster I give a 7.5/10

The atmosphere of the park was very subtle, though the park actually has an atmosphere even in developing stages. it gives off a light, boom-town Western feel as to that one is actually walking through the park in the mid 1800's. The lack of dependence on custom scenery is appealing, too, because it shows that one can actually build within restrictions. For the atmosphere, I give it an 8.5/10

Overall, I quite like this park, the two coasters, and give it an 8/10.

I also got an invitation and went to the construction site of the park...
On my way through the park I was missing a couple things such as some stairs and shops, but I'm sure they will be added during development from the park...
The things that catches my attention were the nice western-like atmosphere and detailness of the park...
Most buildings were brown and wooden, but a couple subtle colours were added to them that give them some depth, and making them not so boring...
The woody was great; a nice smooth track combined with good landscaping in the beginning (the other part was still under construction) and a decent station made it a great ride.
The landscaping which was done, was nice also, with some (small) sparkling waterfalls, at the beginning of the park and a small river going thru the park...
It was a nice experience and I'm looking forward to more construction from the park.
