Hello Everyone! How do you open the downlaoded parks when they are stored as "rols" files? Do I need special software for this? Also, how can I determine whether a park file must be opened by either RCT LL or RCT2 or another program? Help!

i dont know what ur talkin bout with the rols files, but
a RCT2 saved game has a blue background with a yellow track symbol and says "RCT2 saved game"
a RCT regular file says ro and looks like a plain file.
You open them by double clicking.
hope that helps -

A RCT2 park ends with .SV6
A RCT:LL (RCT1) park ends with .SV4
All the parks here are zipped, so you must get "winzip" to open them. -

With my win2k LL end with .sv4, on my XP pro they end the same way but are called "rol" type files. The only special sofware you need is Loopy Landscapes. -

Yes... Natelox answered it perfectly.
If its a .zip, use winzip to extract the files.
If its .rar (which it shouldnt be), use WinRar to extract.
And for future reference, threads like this one do belong in the "Ask the Experts" forum.
Thanks,.
Welcome to New Element, by the way.
