Our 'national TV Station', if you will, CBC, has a show called "The Fifth Estate". It's a great show that has many intresting topics. What they do is investigate things and report their findings, to put it lightly. Anyways, their most recent show was on Sept. 11th, and showing that it might be a conspiricy. Now, I watched the show, and haven't read through the website, but I would guess it's a very intresting read, if you have the time.

Well, I've said this before: I can see how it could have been a conspiracy, but I have more faith in my government to believe even something like that. I don't want to think that that could have been the truth, and if it was all set up, that would be really sick.
I don't think it was a conspiracy. I don't WANT to think it was. Though I admit there are "facts" to back it up. -

I don't think any of the facts suggest that the U.S. government was behind the attacks. I would never rule out the possibility that there may have been some fore knowledge that was not acted upon for various reasons tho. The same suggestions have been made about Pearl Harbor. -

god help us if something that horrible was done deliberately to us by our own government. -

Yeah. Western Society on a whole is corrupt and oppresive. Alot of shit goes on behind the scenes that we dont know about. Im not sure about the whole September 11th conspiricy, and thats strange coming from me. I beleive most conspricies going. It would seem like a great cost just to wage war on iraq and afghanistan. Unless they had other reasons. -

If you think about it, it's not TOO outlandish. In the past, many nations have done things to their own countries to gain support and unity among the people. What happened after 9/11? There was patriotism, unity... oh, and one thing I find odd... a shared hatred for the Middle East. Think about it, they government attacks out own country so as to unite the people AGAINST Iraqi, Afghanistan, whatever. And look what happened? We go in, attack, change governments, etc. We got a motive. MOTIVE. And if you believe Bush went to Iraq for oil, well guess what? That motive gave us Iraq. Now, I'm not saying I believe these conspiracy theories, but it does make you think...

its a respectable document... up until it started bashing the masses of the US. All masses are inherently stupid, no matter WHERE they hail from. -

First, no one staged by our government, or anything of the sort. You would then have to say every attack on America could have been staged. I don't believe for a second that the US government is out to get it's own people, or financial institutions. It is too easy to say that we have "no control". but in all truth we do have control, we have lots of control. We as a country are basically willing ourselves out of this reccesion we are in, i don't believe any politician had anything to do with it. Of course we know all the politicians will take credit when it comes to the elections. It's funny, but I trust Bush and i haven't seen or heard any logical proof that there was a conspieracy. Were are talking about a man who didn't know leaders of other countries before he became president. September 11th needs to be remembered for what it is, the day the US became vulnerable to attack. But i remember it was a day of great sadness for myself, i pray it never happens again. -

I haven't really stated my views on this, but its time now. I'm not sure if Sept. 11th was planned by the government or not, but I definetly would not be surprised if it was. I really think governments are people who control us, with chaos. They make us do, and think what we want by creating chaos where it is needed. -

I don't nessecarily believe that anyone with any ties to the White House had anything directly to do with the planning of the attacks on the WTC.
The most I'm willing to believe is that Bush and/or members of his cabinent, had planned much of their post 9/11 actions long prior to 9/11 and were just waiting for something - anything - to happen, in order to set these events in motion with the blind consent and support of the American people.
When intelligence started comming in that might have helped prevent the attacks, it wasn't a 'failure' of the intelligence system, but rather a purposeful move, that prevented action being taken.
Frankly, even that might even stretch it a bit to far for me. Well, the second part at least. -

I highly doubt it was a conspiracy. I sincerely hope that our government or any other government would do this to their citizens. Purposely killing thousands of your citizens so you have an excuse to go after oil is almost unfathomable. Also having any government shooting themselves in the foot on purpose as this conspiracy states, would be moronic. 9/11 ruined our nations economy, and businesses are still using this excuse now. I doubt any government would want to voluntarily do this to themselves. -

The human race as a whole cannot handle freedom, we destroy ourselves when it is given to us. Thats why communism doesnt work for us because someone ends up taking over and it becomes a dictatership and thats fucked up. Democracy is full of beurocracy and corruption but if a just and fair leader is elected who only thinks about the people who elected him then thats the closet we can ever get to freedom as a race. I, myself, am an anarchist because I beleive we just screw everything in the book and start over and see if it turns out better. Anarchy is true freedom but the human race cannot control it and it mutates into this violent stat of chaos whereas if the human race were to evolve to become less selfish and self-destructive (as a whole. I dont mean you are all selfish) we could handle all the freedom that anarchy gives us and we could exist together in peace with no control of us.
And because we cant handle freedom and power. The governments of the world are a bunch corporate controlled, mindless war mongers. -

anarchy, as a concept, is idealistic.
however
Capitalism, as a practice, is realistic.
Don't make me break out the somethingpositive comic on the subject... -

I've read about theories that point out the Illuminati, as the ones who were at the source of this, I'm honestly not sure myself, but the theories did make sense... -

All laugh if you must but whenever I talk about the Illuminati or the NWO (New World Order) nobody takes it seriously and just give me strange looks. So I dont realy broadcast my thoughts about them anymore.I've read about theories that point out the Illuminati, as the ones who were at the source of this, I'm honestly not sure myself, but the theories did make sense...
