(Archive) Advertising District / Kingdom Hearts

So far I don't think that really captures Destiny Islands. It's nice on its own, but maybe look at pictures of the island from the game? Its mostly sand and like 5 big trees. If you could create thsoe big trees succesfully it would scream destiny islands.

Kumba - Sorry, I don't have the previous screens up anymore since they were deleted. I also had to restart that map from a weird bug in the game.


RaoulXpres - I definately know what Destiny Islnads I have studied it in the game for a while. I am trying to make the building look as if it is in the middle of a tree. Does anyone have any suggestions on what scenery I could use to do that?


More screens will come in a few weeks. I don't really have a bunch of time to play rct and I only play when I feel like playing it in my freetime.

Thats an amazing screen! I'm a sucker for jungle-style themes. RCT2 requires a certain degree of patience that I don't have, keep it up.

Very cool Kraken, but there is something about the screen that bothers me, I cant put my finger on it, It maybe the pink flowers (dark pink), or I think it may be the cannon balls.

What an overwhelming park!


I will never have the time to focus on the current layout of this for that it is way to complicated. hard to explain. Anyways, Instead of making this a huge 4 map park, I decided to make this a series of mini parks. Each world will be on a small map and once one of them is completed, it will be released. I may release them once there all completed but I'm still thinking about that. But trust me, this plan will make things a lot quicker and easier for me.

Too bad, but I know how you feel. I think this way you will be able to get a couple smaller parks under your belt and feel confident before taking on the beat that is a Mega Park.

Why don't you wait to have all the worlds done, then go over and touch em all up, then release em all at once and you'll have a shot at runner up.

i dont think iris would give a few miniparks a spotlight. i may be wrong of course.

And that is also dependant upon having the miniparks be an unbeleivably high quality.

forget what I said about the mini parks....I once again have a new plan. I'm keeping it secret this time.

Destiny Islands is like, a tropical beach area mostly. your using too much wood. It looks like a fort. There are a few buildings on the main island, and that ship deck, but the rest is sand and dirt. Try something like that.

My entry for NEPT is almost done and I am about halfway done with my secret project (should be done mid 2004) so work will go faster very soon. But I'm not going to release to many screens. Don't want to give to much away.

Nice building...I like the detail...but there is too much foliage on the rooves and balconies, they'll collapse...

But an actual update wont come till like around summer. Working on group projects along with smaller things, and school work.
