Well... new prediction.
Knicks will come out of the East.
Keith Van Horn, Starbury, Penny Hardaway, Allan Houston, Kurt Thomas, Moochie Norris, they have as solid as a group as anybody else in the East.
Mad props to Isiah Thomas. -

congrats! they went from small ball to smaller ball. They will be better, but Marbury won't change everything. The KNicks just gave up thier next 2 years for this. If you ask me, it was a mistake.
Yuppies? have you ever been to Northern California? Trust me, there are no yuppies here (except for San Fran ) -

I gotta give Isiah his props here... Though my Indiana Pacers are getting on the ball again a atop the standings...
So I gotta say Larry Bird made the best decision of them all... And the knicks are going no-where... -

Talk about a team in trouble. In my opinion, the Nuggets didn't even play to their full potential tonight. In the past few years, if a team has beaten the Lakers, it's because they're geared up and playing their hearts out, and they still usually only won by a few. But man are the Lakers old. And that Medvedenko dude cannot play defense, so that's really a low point, because George isn't crashing the boards to well either. In my opinion, even when Shaq and the Mailman come back, this team's going to struggle. Of course they'll make the playoffs, but when that comes, we shall see what will happen...we shall see. Perhaps it's all a big hoax so the Lakers get the 4/5 seed again and get to play the Kings in the final again. -

Oh man, why did the Kings have to go and lose too? That takes all the fun out of seeing the Lakers lose again. -

LOL, I haven't checked scores yet, but it's good to hear they lost! They're still 1.5 games ahead of us I think, though. -

Oh man. I just watched the Kings make up 10 points in 1 minute to tie the game only to lose it in overtime. It was sweet comeback though. Too bad it didn't end with a win. -

10 pts in one minute? Crazy.
But they lost to the Blazers. That's almost as bad as us losing to the Suns... shorthanded or not. -

Actually it's the fact that the Lakers lost to the Suns that makes it sooo much better.
The Kings are going on a good long road trip, which they need. It will be good for them to practice their defense. The big debate is what hppens when Webber gets back? The neat thing is that the Kings are just playing like they always do, in some cases it looks like they are not even trying.
Peja for MVP! -

Well, aside from Webber, they're healthy this year, and they have a deep enough team that they don't really need Webber, to be technical.
Yes, the Kings will be scary. I said it a few months ago: barring Laker injuries, the only team that can beat us in the playoffs might be the Kings. -

Lakers lost their 8'th straight road game (longest streak since they moved to LA), and scored the fewest points this season.
Clips on the other hand (the only LA team that matters), won. What's up. -

Well, to be fair, they are missing 4 starters to injury.Lakers lost their 8'th straight road game (longest streak since they moved to LA), and scored the fewest points this season.
PS- Read this description of that last Kings game. That was the most exciting 55 seconds worth of basketball I can remember seeing. This is after the Kings were shooting roughly 30% on the game and had made only 2 shots in the whole fourth quarter. -

BTW, if I really wasn't a prick and had decided to ban people every time the Lakers lost, it would have been:
After the Grizzlies game-
Atticus
After the Mavericks game-
SU182
Just FYI -

Damn it Cork, your Lakers lose to the Grizzlies and then the Kings get sucked into their bad vibe and lose to the Grizzlies the next day. That's just not cool. -

Sad but true. We're still holding out hope that with Webber's eventual return they'll sprout some balls and play defense. Until then, at least we have Peja shooting the lights out to make up for the shoddy defense and win the home games.
Still, the Kings go 2 for 21 in the fourth quarter against Portland, hit 3 triples in less than 1 minute to tie it, and then go cold again in overtime. Makes you wonder if it isn't just a psychological problem. Like they stop playing and give up when the shots aren't dropping. They need to adjust their offense better in those situations.
