I'm bored, its late at night, and I have to take the PSAT tomorrow. At least I get out @ noon. So anyway I saw the topic on GPA so I tought I would follow it up w/ a topic on school.
I go to Saint Xavier High School. Its a fairly large catholic school with 1600 students. Public schools suck here in Kentucky (ranked 49th in the US. that is somthing to be proud of right there!) Most of you will probably think this is crazy, but I have to pay $7,000 a year tuition. Were pretty good @ sports too. We have won over 150 state championships. Also, our rivarly with crosstown school Trinity was ranked #1 in the US by Sports Illustrated. Our football game attendance is over 35,000 every year. OPne of the bad things about my school is that its an all boys school. Thank goodness for the 3 or 4 all girls schools though!

Hey, I go to a catholic School too! And I also get take the oh so wonderful PSAT tomorrow. I go to Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, GA. You think Kentucky has bad public schools, what about Georgia. We got 50 out of 51, better than only D.C. Eh, either way, school sucks.

I go to Dunlap High School near Peoria, Illinois. We arent a big school yet. We have about 800 students but we need to expand cauz we should be up to 1,000 in a few years. We are ranked 7th in SAT/ACT scores in Illinois. And our band kicks ass. we have won class A state competition (the governors trophy) in 2000, 2001, and 2002 (we got 3rd this year). Our boys soccer team is really good (we play regional semis tomorrow). We have a 8-0 record in our conference and 13-3 overall. THe girls teams is good, also. Our football team is pretty good. our basketball and baseball teams have seen better days. Our softball team is decent. oh, AND OUR FFA CAN KICK UR FFA'S ASS ( mainly cauz the school is in a town oin the middle of nowhere with lots of corn fields and farms and such).

I go to Creighton Preparatory School in Omaha, Nebraska, a Jesuit high school for guys. We have 1,021 students... we're consistantly ranked as the top ACT/SAT placer in the state, we have 98-99% of students attend college after high school, over 50% of the graduating class recieve some type of scholarship... pretty damn good considering the average graduating class is 250+ students. And, over 56% of the senior class have GPA's of 4.0 or higher. Also pretty damn good considering the size and how much more challenging our courses are compared to other schools in Nebraska.

Our football team kicks ass, 7-0 so far... Our tennis team is undefeated I believe, and our cross country team is decent... we usually take state in many different sports...

I used to attend St. Stephen the Martyr School, the largest Catholic elementary/junior high school in Nebraska (850+ enrolled)... that school sucked more than you'll ever know... ;)

P.S. Omaha has kick ass local bands...

Holy Shit. Brent0S, your school has 4000 students! I bet you don't even know half your class.

I goto Bishop Strachan school, a private (well I should call it independent but w/e) school in Toronto. We have about 800 students from kindergarten to grade 12, and it's interesting, even with all the tuition our school collects, they only barely break even because of all of the stuff they provide for us.

Like our laptop program, which means everyone from grade 9+ has a laptop that they carry around to all their classes. There's network support in every room as well as AC outlets. This makes it very, very, very, tempting to go surfing when you're supposed to be taking notes, it's a good lesson in self control.

It's a good school, but we have a bad rep for being either snobby bitches who are the daughters of some rich CEO, geniuses who will have all the ivy league US schools begging us to attend, or dykes.

You think 4000 is a lot. I have 4,500 in my school, Midwood H.S. in New York. Good school, but for three of my classes i have to sit in the windowsill, i dont even get a desk. :@

Good school tho, but school sucks no matter which one.
