I'm rooting for Purdue and Michigan in the coming weeks.

No, I'm all about Ohio State now. Would love nothing more than to see them win out, take over number three in the polls, and jump USC for the number two slot. OU-OSU is more interesting to me for two reasons, one my mom and dad went to Ohio State, but my dad is an OU fan like me so its us against her, plus a good friend of mine is an Ohio State fan who watches alot of games with me. On top of that, I want to see another blowout for OU, and I think they could do that more readily against Ohio State than USC.

Sorry....Oklahoma is a good team but a blowout?

They wouldn't blow out Ohio State or USC.....< those two teams aren't Baylor or North Texas... 8@

If Oklahoma goes into the Nat'l Championship with the same attitude that Miami did last year.....well....you know what happened last year to Miami.....

For starters, I dont expect a blow out... just a sizable win, but even thats wishful thinking for the most part. However, OU hasn't just been putting up blow outs on nobody teams. A certain team who is now number five in the BCS got its ass kicked by OU 65-13, and they also beat at the time #12 OSU 52-9... so they are very capable of the blowout against highly ranked opponents.

The reason I don't think OU-OSU would be very competative is because of OSU's sporadic offense. OU's defense has the talent and speed to more than shut done OSU's nonexistant offense forcing ball control time to be very lopsided. And with the ball in OU's hands for the majority of the time they will do some scoring no mater how good your defense is. USC can move the ball, and because of a decent defense OU wouldn't be able to rack up as many points. USC basically has the more balanced attack, and thats the only thing that will give you a chance at beating a team playing as good as OU is now.

As for attitude of the teams, OU and Miami cannot be compared. As sure of myself as I sound thats because I'm a fan who is caught up in how well the team is doing this year. Stoops is the best coach in the NCAA right now, and he has his team damn focused on winning the National Championship. The attitude of the team you pick up from listening to Stoops and the players talk after games is not "we are the best team ever and we will beat everyone", but rather a team who knows they can lose because they went through that last year. They have the right attitude that should keep them from faltering in the last three (including Big XII Championship) games heading into the Sugar Bowl. And as I said earlier, Stoops is god when it comes to preparing a team for a big game.

Alright alright.... :) we will all like our own teams for various reasons...

All I was saying is no one should underestimate the Buckeyes...

We have the hardest schedule left of the top 3 in BCS right now...so we have to win the next two games first...and if we do happen to lose one or both...watch out for Michigan.

I think all the top teams are worthy except I question why LSU is so high...anyhoo...cant wait to see what all happens this Saturday. For some reason, this college football season has been the greatest to watch so far.

I agree, with all the upsets comming out of nowhere its been really entertaining to follow. As for Michigan's chances, they would need USC to lose because of their two losses, and it doesn't look like that is going to happen because of USC's weak schedule they have left to play. I really think the only teams competing over the number two slot are Ohio State and USC.

I don't like LSU ranked so high in the polls either, more so because Ohio State needs to jump them to make things really interesting. I think alot of people still have doubts about Ohio State because they have struggled so much all year and doubt they have it in them to win out and beat Michigan. My guess is that if Ohio State gets through these last two games with no more losses they will have proved enough to take the number three slot in the polls and from there have a damn good chance at two in the BCS.
