I heart ToonTowner!
I agree about the knowledge sharing thing, but sometimes, nowlege should not be released till the time is right...
(makes no sense, but what the hell.) -

I've been sitting on this for about a month...how much longer do you expect me to wait? Now that a park has been released with it I thought the time was right. I didn't post about it before because I know someone was hoping to be the first with a released work containing invisible track, but now that Phatage beat him to it, I saw no harm in sharing the knowledge.
Besides the knowledge has been posted on other sites for a very long time, so anyone could have found it for quite awhile now had they looked. -

I don't know why, but when I change the track type and go back to the game, I get an error trapper. I use 8 cars trainer v1.22, is that the right version. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong you can pm me or post it here if you want.

Alright, i had the same problem so listen up...
Make sure the ride is running when you change the track. Yes, running. Also, ive had a lot of trouble clearing most inversions. Start simple with straight so you know you can do it, then go on to see what track elements are able to be made binvisible. -

Let's get the invisible track discussion going where it belongs. Look in the the Masters of the Beast forum for any further discussion about this. -

Well, it would have still been impressive if he released and people still had no idea how to do it.I know someone was hoping to be the first with a released work containing invisible track, but now that Phatage beat him to it, I saw no harm in sharing the knowledge.
I especially feel sorry for him because he's really been working hard on it and been putting in an exceptional effort.
... oh, and btw, TT, hacking observation towers onto track isn't hard; it's just like switching any vehicle type onto any track type using the ride editor in the 8-cars. -

And it's still an awesome creation and should be very competitive. I'm wondering tho, who hasn't seen it?Well, it would have still been impressive if he released and people still had no idea how to do it.

Phatage... amazing, loved the signs...

I suddenly quit Pro Tour, I want to work on my park now... -

Looking back on it, probably.
I didnt expect it to be this damn popular really. Plus, its kinda cool having one thread with 1146 replies and updates all scattered throughout.
I'll prolly set up an easier-to-navigate thing once the prelim rounds are finished. -

Yes u can. It's the same way as you delete it. Look on the beach of my pirate PT entry and see. After you've laid down the invisible path, you can always find it by viewing the path height numbers. The only downside is you can't put any path items like benches or lamps on it. I have no idea why that is. I'd love to have a version that allowed path items.

I am in your debt, sir. It works!
Oh, the possibilities... -

One thing that annoys me with cBass' entry is that I had almost the exact same idea in one of my parks. Now everyone will think I'm copying... Meh. -
