(Archive) Advertising District / My first RCT2 park

Hello!
Well....I'm from Switzerland and my English is not very well...I hope you understand me...

O.k.
This is my first park in RCT2.

Well, for your first park it looks great to me!

Things i would personally change:

- drop all the water level by 1
- put a texture under the black path, perhaps the rock one
- use a trainer to own all land and fill in the edge

I'm sure the other guys will give you more.

I like the first two screens - reminds me of marshy's slyside shores. the rest i'm not so keen on... it loses it's structure and it's a bit random, but the invert looks nice enough. You need to lower the water by one and try adding some more colour other than brown in there. Very promising for your first park, I might add.

Your English is not bad at all. Switzerland is a wonderful place from what I have heard.

Anywho onto the screens:
Everything looks pretty good. This is an extremely cool park that you have going. Fantastic job so far. I would suggest lowering all the water one unit to make the island appear more like islands. And it would make it look like the place was not going to flood. Great job, keep it up.

Anyone notice hes not using custom scenery? I think its great for a first try and there are only some small problems that i can see. Maybe try some different colours and vary the archimetecture a little more.

This is fantastic work for a first park. Using regular scenery makes it even more impressive.

The screens have a sort of Euroscape look to them. It's nice, though it does get a bit repetitive. It'd try to work on some variety in building looks and textures. Other than that, awesome job!

This park is just fantastic ; wonderfull buildings, interesting rollercoasters... The only thing that i don't really like is the big pirate building on the screen with the red inverted coaster, looks a bit blocky.

Butt except that, this is an incredible park!

Anyway, DragonKhan, die Screens sehen ganz nett aus, auch wenn ich niemand bin, der RCT2 Zeugs beurteilen sollte. Was mir gefällt ist, wie es tatsächlich mehr oder weniger nach einem echten Park aussieht, und nicht einfach nur RCT-Rumgespiele mit krasser NE-Influence ist, wie man das eigentlich täglich ertragen muss.
Die Farben passen eigentlich fast immer (besonders in den ersten beiden Screens) und deine Coaster sehen vielversprechend aus. Architecture ist vielleicht in bisschen 2x2-ism-lastig aber durchaus nicht übel.
Ich finde es mutig, dass mal wieder jemand gemixte Wege benutzt, aber gleichzeitig erinnert es mich auch, warum die Leute damit aufgehört haben. Es sieht zu hektisch und wirr aus, finde ich.
Ansonsten würde ich vielleicht noch ein paar mehr Blumen und Banners verwenden, um das Ganze noch mehr nach "Park" wirken zu lassen.
Aber für's erste mal RCT2 ist das schon beeindruckend.
Hast du auch LL Sachen gemacht?

You stole my thoughts exactly. EXACTLY.

I think it looks like early Butterfinger, and that can progress into something VERY nice, VERY quickly. And it seems you already are good..I can't believe this is your first RCT2 park.....

it looks great to me, but it would be lovely to have some closer zoomed in screenshots, i can't really capture what your park is about with those, they are quite blurred.... or have i got bad eyesite?

Wow, this looks truly awesome for a first park without any custom scenery.

Your theming is good and amd the atmosphere looks great.(good flowering)

I don't like the invert or its section but the rest is a solid start.

I would suggest that in the future you don't take screenshots from so far out becuase your giving away everything, and leaving nothing for the release. If you finish this, you could get a runner-up easily, IMO.

Wow this is coiming along well, and glad to see you are taking closeup shots now.

I really like the atmosphere of this last screen its very good. You might wanna rechoose your flower colors though, IMO, they are kinda boring.

One more thing, how big is this map?

Great first park. Lower all water one down so it isn't at the same level as the land.

And thanks for the link to the XXX site, but not everyone here is 18 and older, not that it matters lol!
