Here is a screen of one of the new rides in the UCES. It is a flying scooter ride.

EDIT: If the creator gets pissed about me posting this shot, feel free to lay it on me. My mistake.

We should make one of our own, Toon's scenery wouyld be leaps and bounds better than anything they can cook up

Yeah, but would he want to make all that? That would be an awful lot of work just for one person.

As for the Flying Scooters, that's great. Granted, the ride could possibly use some textures, but even as it is it would be better than nothing, and far better than that. And it's one I'm sure everyone will love. And I know I have at least one application for it in a park. Here's hoping that there are several new rides like this, and not just tracks. It's looking much better now that we have ride(s).

I'm not sure I understand. Who is the "we" you refer to? And some of Toon's scenery is in the UCES.

EDIT: Official release date of UCES is October 15.

I think the "we" he is refering to is New Element. On other words, the NE object makers like Toon. Some parkmakers could make scenario's/tracks.

It seems as if its a combo of all the custom scenery so far, and a few we haven't seen, but the one thing I don't like are the ugly ass paths. The scenery looks, good, and the new scooter ride looks awesome.

According to Fossil, UCES will be available on October 15 at the link.

I'm just wondering if the site will be able to handle the amount of traffic that will be there on Wednesday.

Hello, everyone. Thought I would introduce myself here.

I'm Squid, and I'm one of the scenario designers for UCES.

To answer a couple of questions and clear up some misconceptions...

To my understanding, the flying scooter ride did not make it into the set. I believe it's still not finished. However, I've been told there's at least 3 new UCES exclusive rides in the set.

Yes, the focus of the set is on scenarios, not scenery. We felt that this was an overlooked part of the game and wanted to emphasize it.

I've been told the site should be able to handle a very heavy traffic load. Not sure on the specs, but we're supposed to be prepared.

The backdrops are actually made up of about 12 different pieces, used over and over. I believe some of them include larger than normal pieces, to cut down on how many are required to produce the effect.

There are over 100 new themed tracks.

iamunknown67, there's also another 1/4 tile water channel in the set, plus a few dozen scenery objects created exclusively for this set.

Legal concerns... well, the license agreement says that you're allowed to create and distribute things for the game with the scenario editor, and that was the primary tool for this set. We are NOT making any sort of profit off of this whatsoever. Also, our topics and ideas were set well before Time Twister was announced. Our original release date was Oct. 1st, but we were unable to reach that goal. We wanted to delay so that we didn't have to rush the project.

Hopefully, there will be something in the set for everyone. And, once it's in your hands, we'd love to see what you can make with what we've provided.

yeah, looks good. and it is free.

That's good if you've got the hosting, but just in case, perhaps it couldn't hurt to open a few bit torrents just in case. Since it's obviously going to be a popular download might as well, as long as people are willing to keep their clients open the speeds will definitely be fast.

Regardless I'm looking forward to it. Not so much for the brand new content but to be able to get a lot of custom objects in one package, and a new slew of scenarios is tops.

    Good luck with the release.

Well, one comment I would have about finding some screenshot bare, remember that those are scenarios and NOT finished parks like the great parkmakers here are used to. Those are undevelopped parks for the most part but you can improve on that, it's the whole idea. If we had the fantastic completed park, what would you have left to do, beside looking at it.

so get ready to build park in new scenarios. Why not?

And if you don't like what we do, you can still wait for Time Twister. Shouldn't be that long.
