I noticed this was getting a lot of attention at rct2.com, so I thought i'd post it here. I think it's a great project - scenarios for the people that play them and loads of new objects for people to use, should they so wish.
Specs:
Scenarios: 15
Objects: 100+
Shops: 12+
Scenery Groups: 10+
Rides: 150+
Paths: 10+

uhhh. Wow. I occasionally play the game the way you should play it. This looks amusing... -

If I read correctly, this is a user made expansion pack, right?
EDIT: stupid post, I got it. Wow that was really goddamn stupid -

I just noticed a really cool idea they've had for custom scenery. They have glass blocks so you can do underground rivers... nice. -

Heh, Agreed. Although im sure Nate made a similar piece which was included with his next element entry.I just noticed a really cool idea they've had for custom scenery. They have glass blocks so you can do underground rivers... nice.
I've said it at the station, and I'l say it here, this is a phenomenal achievement for the community.
Who needs Atari, we can make our own rides. The people who made this possible deserve a hell of alot of credit, so Kudos to you all. -

Oh, THATS what that was. very cool.
This an awesome idea, and I'm sure it will kick WW ass. -

I actually think it looks fun. How, um...
Ugly.
They aren't the greatest screens, but they capture the feel of an official scenario.
Regardless, if it it turns out the scenery sucks, it is a start, and someone has to lay down the gridwork. -

Well, if that's the case, than it's on par with WW or likely TT...Regardless, if it it turns out the scenery sucks, it is a start, and someone has to lay down the gridwork.
advantage? UCES...
Why? Not made by corporate programmers/sold for a ripoff price...this was done by peeps that love the game and specifically scenarios...you have to admire that, even if you won't use a lot of it...
While I've never liked scenerios, these do capture that feel, and look better than the most standard scenarios we've been offered over the years.
Nice job UCES team.

Hmm, looks pretty cool. I'll probably buy it... erm... download it. I only see *possibly* one new ride, but I'm not complaining if it's free. Plus, some of that theming looks pretty good. Not to mention that it's free. But still, I don't see anything groundbreaking yet besides the concept. That's just the standard Giga train in the first pic, right?
Wheee, posting on NE. I really oughta stop lurking. -

Interesting first screen... backdrops. Hmm, as I assume it is consisting of hundreds of scenery pieces, each one clearance high, how on earth can any parkmaker making a good-looking detailed park, or one which is very big, excpect to be able to use those. I can only imagine how fast it would push the game over the in-game sprite limit. Other than that, the only screen which actually gets me excited is the third one. I like that 1/4 tile aqueduct. I must comment that screenshot six and seven look particularly ugly; screenshot six is as barren as a desert (that is green, I guess) -- the only thing good about it is fancy looking building, I hate that monorail and the road and ugly white blocks endorning either side of it. Screenshot seven is horridly barren; I don't exactly like those paths; and I especially despise palm trees lined up uniformly with no underbrush to accent the ground. Honestly, that looks like some oasis and/or resort; where are the plants?!? I hope this doens't offend anyone; it could have been delivered a bit less harshly, but I must say that harshness does attract attention, and I hope that this attracts attention back at those private UCES forums.

(P.S. Has anyone thought about legal issues ... I know that no one is charging money or anything, but you are hacking the code -- I assume, isn't ja227 still doing trainer development -- modifying it, and the title User Created Expansion Pack is definitely will attract attention. It could be named something else and deliver a completely different effect. Unless I'm mistaken user created expansion packs are a big legal no-no...)
