*sniff* *sniff* O well. I never really paid attention to the cubs until this season, but I'm a sucker for the underdog. No biggie cause there's no way they would've won the world series agsint either AL teams anyway.

I guess that's what happens when you've got an unexperienced team who isn't used to that kind of pressure. I mean, the crowd last night, the players probably haven't heard that noise in years. Or at least I think that's why Wood couldn't pitch for absolute shit last night. Or he just sucks...

Anyway, gratz to the Marlins, they definitely deserved it. Greedy fan and all.

Wood and Prior were "lights out" in the regular season. They were anything but in the series.

Just goes to show you that with a good coach and very hard work anyone can win.


Now who will the Marlins be playing against...cough, cough Yankees, cough.

This will be awesome tonight. Game 7, NY v. Beantown, what more could you ask for.

Hopefully tonight lives up to its billing! If the Yankees win tho, baseball season is over for me. I have ZERO interest in a Yankees/Marlins world Series. It's a worst case scenario matchup for me.

^This is why Yankee fans should be fuckin' shot.

Not once.

Not twice.

Repeatedly.

Too quiet while things look sketchy for their team, but as soon as they get their lead/win, they get all righteous, as if it is supposed to happen. Meanwhile, Sox fans live and die with every pitch, inning and game, bleeding Red Sox red with every next second. I guess that's what you get from 85 years of frustration, loyalty and disappointment.

Still, it's better than being a spoiled Yankee "fan".

So, another vicious turn of events have knocked a very valiant and deserving Red Sox team from the opportunity to win the World Series and get rid of this "curse business". Oh well...I personally think Little left Pedro in for about 2-3 batters too long, but hell, I'm not a major league manager...

To close, I wish Marlins fans well. I don't like the prospect of a 10-11 year old franchise winning 2 Series while we're still waiting since 1918, but I'll root for anyone playing those pricks from New York, especially Jeter, Posada, and Giambi. Good luck with your series, but I can't watch pure evil on the screen any more than I have, nor listen to it either (and Fox announcers Joe Buck and Tim McCarver).
