I dont know what was up with Ramirez, but that pitch wasnt even close to his head....if it was a littlew lower it would have been a strike....oh well, someone just wanted to start a fight.
I still think Pedros a d-bag. Clemens controlled his emotions....Pedro cant. And why the fuck would someone fall into the bullpen to start a fight? -

A few things straight:
1. Zimmer is the asshole that charged and swung at Pedro. What the hell.
2. The "fan" in the bullpen was a groundskeeper that Jeff Nelson and Karim Garcia beat the fuck out of...and now face charges for.
3. New York should fall into the ocean with California.
4. My Red Sox choke under pressure.
That is all. -

Oh, and notice Mick chimed in once his team took the series lead...not when they were suffering from Tim's Knuckler...
I'd be more ashamed to be a Yankees fan quite frankly.

To NOT go to the World Series, the Marlins have to have both Mark Prior AND Kerry Wood have bad outings.
I don't see that happening.
Cya in the Cubs-Yanks WS! -

Zimmer is an asshole, are you kidding me. He is 72 and only went after Pedro cuz he is a pussy who doesn't ever bat and says he will purposely hit people in the head. If Pedro was any kind of a man he would of sidestepped Zim and that would be it. But no he grabbed a 72 year old man (Pedro is 32 BTW, you do the math) by the head and threw him down, what a tough guy. I hope someday he is traded to the NL and gets plunked in the head.
Tim's knuckler are you kidding me. Yanks would beat Tim 9 times out of 10. -

Sorry Queen. i found out it was a groundskeeper after i posted that.....and i think zimmer was being a d-bag....pedro threatening posada was retarded....and ramirez wanting to heat things up because of a pitch that would have been a strike if a foot lower makes him a dumbfuck -

One helluva game Beckett pitched! I expected that, though. Cubs in 6; Prior should be ON.
Remember, of course, that last year, Beckett was supposed to be the best rookie pitcher... kinda like this year's Prior. -

Personally, if I was Pedro, I would have thrown him down, then picked him up, and put his ass in a concussion. What the hell does a 72 year-old think he is doing when he is charging a 32 year-old (larger and stronger) man? He deserves to get laid out and I thought it was fuckin hilarious. I waited for Sportscenter to watch it again. I then waited for the news, to watch it again. Zimmer is a retard, Pedro should have thrown the pitch at HIS head in the dugout. -

I only thought Marlins pitchers had this kind of aim...Zimmer is a retard, Pedro should have thrown the pitch at HIS head in the dugout.

Now there is an intelligent remark. Throwing down a 72 year old man, giving him a concussion, that would show some real balls and toughness. Way to go Fatha.
Pedro should be checked out for mental retardation, and actually anyone else who thinks like him should also be checked out. How can a sane person agree with that?
Expert writers and the Boston media agree that he went way too far. I am not saying what Zim did was right but at least he apologized.
PEDRO IS A BITCH, plain and simple.
BTW Game 4 is starting no....Go Yanks -

I'm not agreeing with Pedro's pitch to the head. That was a bit odd, and not something anyone should encourage. The brawl with Zim however, was clearly an example of Zimmer charging, swinging, and Pedro defending. Get over it. Zimmer has, can't you?Pedro should be checked out for mental retardation, and actually anyone else who thinks like him should also be checked out. How can a sane person agree with that?

Oh, and now that Game 4 is over (and Wakefield's season against the Yankees as well), let's recap his winning percentage for the Season.
Regular season: 2-2 record vs. the Evil Empire
ALCS: 2-0
Combined record: 4-2, 0.667 winning %
A far cry from the .100 (1-9) you'd suggested.
Wanna have another Knuckle sandwich, Yankee boy?

Hehe....I was away for the week-end and just got back to see Saturday's fiasco. Pedro threw at the guy (so what, happens all the time and he didn't hit him in the head). Zimmer charged Pedro swinging his fists (if you're 72, don't go after someone who is 32), Pedro sidestepped and helped him to the ground (don't think he did anything wrong, hell with weight Zimmer's carrying, he probably would have hit the ground that hard just from his own momentum). Manny Ramirez overreacted like a little baby to a pitch that was almost over the plate. The only real assholes in this whole fiasco would appear to be Nelson and Garcia if they truly did kick the crap out of the groundskeeper for waving a towel (like a Yankees groundskeeper would never do such a thing .
Bottom line is the series is 2-2 and who wouldn't like to see Clemens vs Pedro in game 7 in Yankee stadium now! Talk about a gong show...
My opinion is that all this crying about throwing inside is ruining baseball. These big monsters on steroids crowd the plate and look for something away they can crush and more pitchers should ding someone now and then and back them off a little. It's part of the game and should stay there. Just don't throw at someone's head.
