While were commenting on these screenshots I'll go ahead and get this off my chest...
While this park shows great talent on your part, I guess, I don't really like it at all. I'm not saying I don't think your talented because I think you have certainly proven that, but I just think this is an example of how RCT2 can be made to look nothing RCT. With all the custom scenery you have chosen, the buildings you create no longer look like the normal RCT look.
It just shows that the scenery a parkmaker chooses to use can be just as important as his/her skills in the game itself. No matter how great your skill is, I think the scenery you have chosen (including what seems to be WW scenery ) is dragging this park and all of your other work down, at least for me.
I honestly haven't read any other comments in this thread so I don't know if this has been said, but its just they way I feel about this and all your other work. -

Ouch slob.......
I will say this Scottie. Your Disney park outshines this one bar none.
Also, I think that it is VERY tough to do any kind of "realistic" park that is based anywhere in the US, as most parks with a Six Flags moniker, in real life, look rather drab. Case in point, most of the theme parks in the mid west. All that masonry...ughh. Although, the same thing could be said about Manchester, England. But I digress. I think that a parkmaker's choice of scenery is part of what makes a good parkmaker (that and being able to effectively use it). I still like the "Mid West" feel of this park. It would be nice to see how it interacts with the rides (which I understand aren't done, cause this baby's still in the SE).
Anyway, just my two cents. I'm not sure why this topic has resurfaced again lately...oh yeah, that's right. Your stalker brought it up. -

When making my parks, I select what scenery I need at the time and not what I might need in an area I haven't even started. I try to select scenery that is "RCT-ish", but sometimes I need things that aren't so. Six Flags over Florida was my first attempt at a full blown park, so that can pretty much explain why it's so shitty (not really an excuse). I only reposted the screens of it because some people had asked me to do so.Anyway, just my two cents. I'm not sure why this topic has resurfaced again lately...oh yeah, that's right. 'Trix, don't remind me of that...
slob, I know not many people like my style (it's mostly n00bs for some reason ). I guess this is because I try to make my parks' architecture more realistic and "clean" than the traditional RCT structure. I don't know. It's my style and I'm sticking to it. Honestly, DTA was the first park I ever actually liked.
Ever.
So, if a mod is reading this, please close this topic. I'm removing the screens as well.
