5) Ac/Dc- The Thunder from Down Under! Raspy lead singers match guitar style with perfection, great lyrics and one of the top ten rock albums ever, Back in Black.

4)Led Zepplin- Classic English rock. Everyone loves LZ. From the great name to the catchy lyrics and tune. Eveything about Led Zepplin was right where it needed to be.

3)Stained- Catchy stuff. 14 Shades of Grey is definently something I have to buy here soon. Break The Cycle was pretty good too. It's been a while since I could...

2)Van Halen- Guitar! I'm talking early Halen. When they still had David Lee, the guitar was wild and wicked, the lyrics are fitting, catchy, sometimes even funny... No one can play like Van Halen and nobody can scream like David Lee.

1)Pink Floyd- All skilled musicians that always worked as a great team untill the bands double falling out (1982 then again ing 1995). Just an amazing power in all the music from the album Meddle on to the final album- The Division Bell.

I'll be checking out Radiohead since everything I've read almost goes so far to call them the modern Pink Floyd (aka- they're making creative, progressive rock with changing time signitures and sound effects, etc.).

I think that is all.

some of us do, most don't. besides, isn't this a thread for "bands"? not too many bands headlining ibiza last time i looked, not that i look to frequently, mind you. what electronic music i listen to is experimental/idm, with a bit of chillout/downtempo, as well.

of course, i guess you could count that, if you want. but i doubt aphex twin, or four-tet, will have too many club-banging anthems in their lifetime...

so, yeah, no.

pymguy seems to listen to a lot, mantis a bit, and that's about it.

anywho...

I heard Aphex Twin for the first time the other day, when Franz Ferdinand played Windowlicker on their One Night Stand show on Radio 1.

I was expecting something a lot less cooler than it was - it was really trippy and I liked the pulsingness of it.

You should see all his videos. They are teh sex.

I've seen clips of that one with the thing that screams at the granny on 'hundred scariest moments' lol.

I d/led Nannou off the same EP. And I think i'm hooked.
