The Bled - Really good hardcore, download Dale Earnhardt's Seatbelt.

Northstar - Great songwriting and perfect to chill to. A great bass player, too. Download My Ricochet

Thursday - I don't care what anybody says, this band is incredible. Good lyrics and music to back it up. Download Paris in Flames.

Thrice - They can't do anything wrong, download Betrayal is A Symptom

The Bronx - My favorite band of the moment. It's not punk, not hardcore, just great rock music. The singer sorta screams, sorta sings, but its perfect. Download Heart Attack American.

Heres my list (In some cases it was hard to pick just one, so I picked two!):

    1. Rammstein- Addicting almost techno like beats and belching german vocals, make this band awesome (Favorite Song: "Spiel Mit Mir")
    2. KMFDM- An awesome mixture of techno and Industrial. (Favorite Songs: "Like a Prayer" and "The Mortal Kombat Theme Song".)
    3. System of A down- Their strange music fits my strange tastes. ;) (Favorite Song: "Darts")
    4. Celldweller- a lesser known industrial band that knows just the right way to mix Industrial and Rave. (Favorite Song: "Stay with Me")
    5. The Jimmi Hendrix Experience- (Jimmi Hendrix is one of the greatest innovators of modern rock. How can you not like Jimmi Hendrix?) (Favorite Songs- "Hey Joe" and "If Six was Nine")

And the rest (in no particular order)......80's Metallica, Pantera, Anthrax, Megadeth, and Rancid

    1. Led Zeppelin - The best band out there, no question. Amazing vocals, jaw-dropping guitars, pounding bass, powerful drums, superb lyrics, great diversity among their songs, etc. They have it all!
    2. Black Sabbath (1970-1978) - The band that pretty much started metal. Great heavy rockers, and really fun to listen to.
    3. Jimi Hendrix - The guitar god, he did things with guitars no one else, whether at the time or even today, can do. Also a great songwriter.
    4. Pink Floyd - Some of the most unique music out there comes from them. An extremely talented lineup that leans towards great conceptual albums.

    5. Iron Maiden / Metallica (1983-1988) / AC/DC - Ummm, yeah. Good bands.

    Pym, you forgot Radiohead.

Sure, you're into dance and the like at the moment (so am I) but, well, Radiohead....

Fatboy is great, I always forget to put him on my lists cos I only have tapes of his - no CDs. And my tapes are in my bedroom, and my CDs are on the iMac right next to me.

I don't have Halfway... but I do have You've... and Better... Both are pretty cool (I like Love Island, Praise You and most of Better Living...)
