Before I go to a better place (hell), lemme explain why I'm going... like forever. I'm posting it here so I can give you the whole truth and not 'RCT2.com truth' which incidentally sounds like this: "RCT2.com is God. You will comply with what they expect of you will perish".


So to finish: what I think of RCT2.com. Over-modded, SERIOUSLY over-rated, badly run, no content, and full of cock-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo-a-doodle-doo sucking Chauncey Gardner stains in the higher-ranks (oh sorry rcthelp - you're not in the higher ranks are you? Well stop fucking acting like it).

So I'm going. I can't stand this any more. I'll get a new AIM name or something for all you whores, but I'm not gonna tell you - you'll have to track me down. Boycott RCT2.com - leave it for good. It's messed me up enough, don't let the same happen to you.

I must admit that I'd been confused by recent events involving RCT2.com, this being one of them...

Until now...

I see I am enlightened as to why you left, what your true feelings are, and the lie you've been living for as long as you've posted at that site until now.

Don't get me wrong, it's your life and you can choose to lead it the way you want, I'm not going to stop you. If you want to pretend for 6-10 months that you care what other people think and feel, including former fellow staff members, and then come out and act like this, fine. It's rather twisted, demented, and seems like signs of an unstable persona. I for one, don't believe I can trust a word you say at this point, as I see I have been lied to all this time.

Am I really insulted? Not sure to be honest, as for the most part I have a fairly good idea on where "internet friends" fit in my life. Some are more important than others, as I've grown to know some more closely at times, such that I've entrusted them with some facets of knowledge pertaining to my personal life. Others that I barely know I basically know on a RCT, club or website level. You know what I mean if you think about it.

The point is, while I do fit in the general population of "RCT2.com Staff", you didn't name me directly, so maybe I'd like to think I'm not included in your raving objections to the other personalities on staff that remain there that you spoke of. Perhaps this is delusional, and if so, then fine, go ahead and label me. I can take it, and then ignore you if I need to. If not, then you insulted some close friends, and some I barely know as staff members, and while this is troubling, once again, I can choose to just ignore your reactions regarding them from now on, as that is the easiest and most stress-free way of handling this, for me at least.

Now, onto the whole site discussion aspect, as that was clearly one of your other major points. Here's how I see it:

-I'm staff here.
-I'm staff at RCT2.com.
-I'm former staff at the OLD RCT Station.

Why? Well, that would be 'cos I value each site for what they do have to offer, and that's my decision.

RCT Station was my first forums I visited, I eventually was a MOD there, and then when I knew I didn't have the desire to work on the staff anymore, I left that position. Did I regret my time there as MOD? No, and even when I did express my concerns upon my leaving, it was in the best interest of the site's future, not a personal rant to insult former colleagues and the organization.

When I was asked to join the NE team as staff, Iris approached me for a few reasons, one being that I have a strong organization of parkmakers, and the other that I was a staffer at Station. My desire to co-exist in the world of RCT sites, and keep peace between rival sites is something that he and I both value, so naturally I accepted. Once I left the Station as staff, I still defended its values that I shared, and also RCT2.com's as well.

As RCT2.com staff, I am primarily involved as the CLUBS moderator, providing a stable/organized home to the orphaned clubs in the wake of the Station collapse earlier this spring...I do mod other areas, and still value intersite relations, so some things haven't changed.

Basically, I enjoy visiting all three because there are members, parks, features, and comraderie that I value at all of them. True, there are aspects to each site that aren't perfect (can't/will never be), but the point is that I enjoy what I can, and ignore the rest. Really, I do. I could care less about scenario making, but I'm glad all the same that there are places on sites that cater to those that are interested in it. It's the same with clubs, where I freakishly love the concept, and others could care less. That's fine, no problem.

I guess I just don't understand the elitist mentality. Sure, we all strive to be the best. I respect that. I'd like to think that RCTM does its best to make as good quality of parks as possible, and when that effort shines through, it makes me smile. I see community and staff members at all sites making great strides to provide a quality RCT site for players to visit, though different methods, philosophies and realizations are bound to occur from place to place. Having so many places to visit is an amazing feat for a game concept that is going on 5 years old that we shouldn't take for granted, though most do. Playing RCT, managing a club, modding on occasion, and meeting interesting people from around the world is fun, so that's why I'm here. I don't visit for the stress, that's for damn sure.

I'm just sorry that some people spend so much effort enhancing the negative aspect of various sites, rather than just chillin' and having a good time. Since they do and I'm not about to stop them, I'll just ignore it.

Oh well, thanks anyway. It was a nice 6-10 months, and I'm sorry it's over.

Dave and I are both sorry that these misunderstandings mean that I felt I had to post this rant. If we'd have sorted them out properly, this post would never have appeared.

I am extremely ashamed of my behaviour and am very sorry, as you can read here.
