(Archive) Advertising District / Mythical Gardens

I have been keeping on it! Expect this sometime between the middle and end of September. There is still much work to do (on my part).

Anywho hears another screen to keep this project out of the gutter while i work on my water coaster...

I like it. The archy is good and very simple. I like the big building in the entrance area. Thats some good stuff, the roofs all fit together very nicely, but the symmetry thing doesn't really work. Try to vary it a bit. Also, in the second screen, you might wanna add some more bushes or something. It doesn't need more trees, just bushes or something else as a filler, maybe flowers. Its wayyy too bare.

The third screen is good. Nice theming for that flat ride. Still nice archy, you've got a good theme going, good colors...balanced in this screen.

Nice job..keep going.

Ok it all just went down hill here in this screen completely. I'm not trying to shatter your convidence, but...

Carousel looks kinda odd with the magically floating roof above it.

Multicolored bushes look odd

Blue and purpley pink flower combo looks weird

Grey wooden walls look weird and stuck out to me

purple line is weird

reds paths look stupid. I'm sorry, I've just hated those paths ever since RCT1

On a final note, it still looks good I don't absolutely hate it even thought it sounds like I hate it. And update the Thrillnetwork thread, just because the people there aren't as good doesn't mean they shouldn't critique. I've noticed that many of the lesser skilled people have come up with extremely good ideas. Plus more people telling you it's good will do wonders on the ego and also increase the parks quality and make you enjoy it more.

The first screen is still my favourite - I really like the glass roof TT made.

I'm not so crazy about the colors, but it does look very nice.

I'll be updating BOTH here and TN in about an hour... I'll add this last screen to TN and stuff too. And since you were the only one who really critized the park (coasterkidmwm) my ego is already inflated...

Non-the-less, update later. There may not be any new ones for like four days after that though.... Camping over the holiday weekend, up north with quad riding... I'm wound! Anyhow i'm glad those of you who like the park do and for those who dont... i'll play with some stuff...

I don't like the rock arches, but if i'm right you can't change them in rct2, can you?

I think you could make the land a bit more interesting...it's all a bit flat and boring. Plus, you need more BUSHES! SHRUBS! TOPIARY!

He can make it the light bornish red wood, black wood, or snowy. I think brown would look best because he already has that other places.

Okay, mantis. Thanks for the help. I'll be adding more hills, probably some jagged rocks and that wooden building is about to change to something elce. Updates later TODAY.

I like the red, grey and black building, but I think you should at least make those entrances Space-Themed.
