General Chat / Odd pop up

Has anyone else been getting a pop up what looks like this:


I've been getting it often, it's slowed down now, but it used to pop up like every half hour or hour a couple of days ago. I found out that my friend has also been getting this. Has anyone else?

Yep they will come up new, its a new annoying popup that can come up due to a flaw in windows xp (go firgue) If you have a firewall then your safe, if not good luck.

Rather than be a useless retrad like the morons above me (Metal), I'll be helpful for once and tell you how to fix that shizazzle:

Control Panel > Adminstrative Tools > Services > Messenger

Next go down to the drop-down menu "Startup Type" and select option "Disabled".

And then you're all set.

It's really ironic, because 95% of those messages are from STOP TEH POP-UPS things, and almost never for porn or anything. It's gotten crazy, and they want you to pay 10 dollars for a program, which does basically what Q said.

Anyways, I thought there was something in the registry you had to change aswell...

I have also been getting that a lot... But it seemed to go away.

I've never had anything like that, but I'm constantly getting IMs from bots with sexy names asking me to look at their pics... if you get my drift...

Naturally I decline, occassionally warning them in return
