Anyway, about the screenshot. I'd say it's ok.
It looks sort of nice and has pleasing colours plus atmosphere, but really, it's just a bunch of custom scenery. That makes me loose the feeling for RCT in a way and I can't truly say whether I like or dislike it.
Nevertheless, the rocks are really sweet.

Indeed, very nice rocks. Beautiful. Amazing. So fuckable and cudleable. I want to hug those rocks. Sexy. Creates a very nice vibe, and adds to the awsome auora.

And yes, it is chalk full of custom scenery, like Posix mentioned... but he's wrong about one thing, it doesn't lose the RCT feel. That's the thing about your custom scenery, it fits the game perfectly, because you make it right. I dont know how you do it, and I dont know why you arent sharing this new scenery with me, but you're on the right track. So dont listen to Posix, he's a die hard traditionalist. Resists change, stuff like that.

Actually SA...given Posix's disdain for RCT2, I took his comments as complimentary! Oh, and seeing RoB yesterday is what got me off my ass and starting this park...I didn't want you to show me up too badly.

This park is going to be so awesome. Not much else to say. Hopefully this park will be done by the time I start working on an RCT2 park so I can pick up all the cool custom scenery.

Trust me, I'm not hoarding scenery. I didn't even remember what was on your list. Every new custom piece you see here was created today, while I was building the lighthouse. It's a situation where I start building, think about what I need to get the look I want and go make it. Unfortunately, I will likely be creating a lot of custom scenery as I go for this project and if I take the time to post every piece I create the moment I create it, my head would be spinning. Every once in a while I will package up all the new pieces I have and post them for download, just don't expect it everytime you see something new.

It's a situation where I start building, think about what I need to get the look I want and go make it.

I wish I had that talent.

I'm confused, because I seem to be the only one who does not like this so far. Sure, its a great use of custom scenery. But it doesn't look like a lighthouse at all. Plus, its only one building. How can I comment on it?

Toon, this may be my opinion...but you can do sooo much better in RCT2, so use it.

I can't speak for anyone else but what I'm excited about is the potential of this park, not really the actual screen. We know what Toon is capable in terms of custom scenery and the screen shows me that he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve that he'll be using on this park. Plus, I know what sacf was hinting at and I'm excited about that as well
