I'm sorry, but it sucks really really bad. You only one use tree throughout the whole park, the buildings are big and block and ultimately make me want to puke, and it is an overall eye sore. Suggestions: scrap it.
EDIT: Nevermind I see more than 1 tree, but not in many places.

wow that hurt my eyes. i defnitley have to side with DragonInferno on this one and say get rid of this park now. its really terrible. i would suggest looking at other peoples rct2 work on this site and really learn aout architecture and theming. i didnt look at the pictures long enough :0 to decide about the coasters but i would guess u need to learnamore aout making them too. also there are spotlights and runner-ups to look at (in case u haven't already)

Dont listen to them. They both are just fucking retards that are trying to put people down. This is why I quit because of fucking bitches like u :@ :@ :@ :@

Breathe in, Breathe out, now count to ten slowly.....

I would also recommend varying the trees up more, and more buildings of course.

I have to agree but there is always a way to make a park improve. Here are some suggestions. You could use some benches trash cans etc. along the paths. They look very plain. Now that I think of it, a lot of things are plain. One word that can desribe this park is emptiness. The buildings could use more color variations and different wall textures and windows. Also, the paths could use some gardens along side them. Gardens most of the time spice up the look to a park if you don't make it too sloppy.

In the screen woth the log flume, A LOT of work can be done there also. First off, theme the ride. Your log flume looks very boring since there is nothing there but the ride. Another major factor, trees. As I said before, Your park looks very plain and definately needs trees. A lot. Put in more rides to. Try to think up of some creative ideas that no one has ever done. This will help make your park more interesting to people and maybe a little more popular. That is all I can think of at the moment. The park needs a lot of work. But I wouldn't suggest giving up. As I said before, there is always a way to make a park improve, no matter how good or bad it is. I wish you luck on this park.

OK, the first rule of showing ANYTHING at this site.....be prepared for some members to rip you a new @$$hole. It appears that you are just starting out in the world of RCT2. That is perfectly acceptable (hell I was there with my first RCT2 park, which was my park prior to Tilted Acres). The thing you should keep in mind when building anything related to architecture is complexity. Look at real building photos, theme park ride pics, ANYTHING that gives you inspiration from a theming perspective. Then incorporate your own "spin" into that. It takes time, patience, and LOTS of practice (I was revising Tilted Acres right until the very end.) If you are attempting "realism" then load yourself with an arsenal of theme park pics, if it's fantasy you're after, then to hell with it all, go with your gut. The one thing you should NOT DO is adandon this park. If you do, then the buttheads (and there are plenty) at this site have won. Ultimately, you are creating this park for you (and your "peeps"). $&%$^# what everyone else thinks!!!

Does that imply what i think it does? :0

Thanks for being honest (I guess). But IF you haven't noticed the park is still under construction and trees, shrubs and flowers will be added after I have completed everything else. So I hope that clears that issue up.
  • deanosrs%s's Photo
that doesnt make the buildings any better. and you should only really post completed screens - try not to leave blank squares. i could give you loads of suggestions, but it would be easier if you took a look at marshy's or ...'s tutorials (in their profile, do a member search.) and don't give up on this park - the same people who are telling you to were once at the same level you are :)

    Yep!

i dont think i was an asshole at all. i was just telling the kid what i thoght and of course i was in his position not that long ago. I hvae not been playing rct2 for very long and just so you know (whoever posted this) keeping posting at this site if you want to get better, it has certainly halped me :yup:

Slob, read the above post again please. I didn't call you an @$$hole, I said some members at this site will rip this kid a new one ;)

My advice to him was to be prepared. You have to admit that some people's responses can be , well, less than constructive. That said, there are some here who post incredibly well thought out feedback.

    Let's see...

    1. DragonInferno, shut the fuck up. How can you say "scrap it" as a suggestion? Worthless pieces of shit like you ruin it for people trying to get better at the game. Fuck off.

    2. I'd say the same for sloB but he replied after his first response and took back some of the stuff with an apology.

    3. Turtleman, quit bitching. I'm sick of hearing shit like "I quit cuz ppl on the net don't like my parks." Boo-fucking-hoo, you whiny bitch.

    4. As for suggestions, I'd say definitely add in some more trees (vary them, don't just add all of the same kind). Work on your architecture by making your buildings less big and blocky. Look at spotlights and runner-ups for good examples of architecture. Your scenery and landscaping is minimal, so I'd say add in some flowers or fountains to spruce it up. Get rid of the God awful queue line covers. They are extremely overused. Finally, your coasters need some work. Make the layout more interesting and don't be confined to a patch of land. Have the coaster go underground or over the pathways or something. Mainly just look at other parks and see how they organize their parks.

    5. I gotta agree that you shouldn't post incomplete screens but since you're new I'll let it slide. Just remember, the greatest parkmakers in the RCT community are on this site, so members here are used to seeing top-notch parks. This leads to excessive bitching on the parts of some that can't realize when someone is new. Don't listen to them. Listen to the people with suggestions not putdowns. And don't listen to anybody that clogs your thread with their whining.

    6. Have fun with the game. Thank you for your time.

    No. Why do you ask?
  • DragonInferno%s's Photo
I think he asks, because they have all the crappy parkmakers there.
