Jacko, If you've ever been to a real theme park you will understand where my inspiration comes from. I strive for realism in my parks, and I have since I started making them in 1999. How can you say something is overused? I dont think that real theme parks have any concern for if they used the same window too much, or if the rails on their buildings dont look right.

You also mention that I overuse a certain type of path... are you daffy? Are you suggesting that I checker my paths like all the other loony bastards out there?

I am trying to create a vision with this park, and It has worked thus far. I am not saying that my park is the best park ever made, but I am acknowledging that it will meet a positive reply when it is released. If you don't like it, at least it's just you, and at least you're a noob, you've probably never heard of me before anyhow.

And, P.S., the people who I quoted in the original posts are my beta testers, and they have seen the whole park.

    Hello.

Fuck all of you because I saw the park...

This park is perfect from head to toe. I hated the gay-ass suspended coaster at first, but it grew on me like a viral fungus after awhile. Then when it was themed, I knew it was meant to be there and all doubts were set aside.

Eversio is one of the best coasters I have EVER seen in the game and now that it's "covered" it's even more amazing now. For the love of all hell, get rid of that new piece of shit you are tinkering with...

I told you...LIM is the key to the universe...

    SA...

    Chris...

    Yeah man...

This will be the best RCT 2 park ever...

Until RoC and RoD of course...

Jacko, I'll tell you what I love about this park and why SAC is my favourite RCT2 parkmaker. The flow of the park from one building to the next is seamless. When you're looking at the park you never get bored and your eye is never lead outside the boundaries of the area you're looking at. It's strange because this an important component of real art, but I never really equated it to RCT before. Also, the area is varied enough not to get boring with a great mixture of straight and curved lines. It's wonderful how compelling the area remains with a rather small selection of wall textures. SAC may not build with as much detail as Foozy or myself, but there is enough there to make a more thorough exploration interesting. As for the coaster, SAC has proven himself to be one of the best in this area. Interesting and well spaced inversions, good pacing and great interaction with the landscaping are all trademarks. Personally I love the colour of the coaster. It adds the splash of colour the area needs and makes it really stand out.

The other parks you mentioned are both great, but this is the one I'm most excited about of all the parks that are coming.

You also mention that I overuse a certain type of path...  are you daffy?  Are you suggesting that I checker my paths like all the other loony bastards out there?

If you don't like it, at least it's just you, and at least you're a noob, you've probably never heard of me before anyhow.

The path type you used looks bordered in each square it is layed down on. It would look better in smaller portions. Maybe add some trees or a fountain in the middle of those large path sections? And no, I'm not suggesting to checker your paths. That would look reeeally bad.

And also, so what if I haven't heard of you? How does your reputation affect the quality of THIS park? I can still offer constructive criticism, though I am new to this site. Noobs are people too!

By no means am I saying I don't like this park! I really like your style and the elegant ambiance it provides. Your architecture is top notch, and I really like that suspended coaster. I could be wrong - it's a definate download for me so I guess we'll see when it's released. :)

Im sorry that I attacked you, using words such as "daffy" and the like, but sometimes I misunderstand what people are saying.

Your second post makes alot more sense to me, it's more complete and includes more detail.

I see what you are saying about the large open areas of paths, but the screen is of the entrance to the biggest ride in the park. That is the disadvantage of only being able to see screens, you cannot see how everything works together and you are forced to make an opinion on an unfinished still shot.

I never suggested your word was invalid because you haven't heard of me. But I have been playing RCT as long as it has existed, and you telling me Euroscape is better than this reallymakes me wonder.

You complained about about "completely ordinary and cliched," but everything in Euroscape is the same thing. You say that I "overused... portcullises," If you look at Euroscape, you will see extreme mal-usage of the round windows with the crossbars, on every single building. Euroscape epitamizes ordinary and cliched to me, To each his own, I guess.

    peace. :SA:
did anybody notice that this smiley is called "SA?"
  • Jacko Shanty%s's Photo
Heh, I knew I'd get bashed for liking Euroscape. :)

So yeah, I guess I am sort of a hypocrite now in a way. So I think I'm going to wait for the release before I jump to conclusions... :bandit:

You really have to see this park in its whole to understand how amazingly great it is. SAC's style is in one word perfection. Every time he touches the game he takes it to new levels with a crisp look that can elevate even the simplest of themes to new heights. The realism and simplicity combined with intricate details and the best theming ever come together to create a park that can keep you looking for hours. Then add to that one of the best line ups of coasters ever highlighted by the best beemer imaginable and you have a park that will top anyone's list.

This looks fantastic from the shots... another RCT2 spotlight!!! yay!!! ;) Can't wait to see it "in person".

The latest coaster's colors are amazing, really nice IMO. Makes for a standout.

it has the best full park synergy ever

Pyro has said it all. You have to see it to believe it.

Absolutely amazing. Although i am not completely fond of the asian bit, looks too much like wacky worlds but im sure when that area is completed you will prove me wrong. I am also glad to see you got rid of that invert.

You have made one of the best beemers around, possibly the best, the loop after the lifthill is brilliant and adds a lot to the ride. The theming around it is also outstanding.
I just hope the last two sections can be as good as the rest, if they are you go spotlight and the best rct2 park..You would keep that accolade for a long time also.
Overall the park is sublime.....i love it

Also Remember what i said on aim, That other ride you have put in, the last drop doesnt link up ;)

Do you know how good this park is?

It's gonna get a Corkscrewed's Review. When it's done, of course.

    No more flame wars please...

This park is amazing, one of the best. And SaCoasterFeak is being very humble about the whole thing. I personally find that increadably amazing. Personally i think the paths are too wide and the atmosphere falls a bit short of some of the earlier screens but fuck those little things and Drool...

No it isn't perfect or even nessisarily the best, but it is damn good.

    hey, this park pwnz!
    ^_~

Take to heart what I said about your obssesion with "midbreaks from hell" (as corky would put it) on that thar beemer, though.

This park really is amazing. The screens are so awesome and immersses (sp? word? sounds good) you right in the action of the park. You have also made a good atmosphere without leaving in amount of detail out.

Oh yeah, definitely. That's the only thing that's barring Eversio Lemuria from 100% without a doubt becoming my favorite coaster ever.

The majority rules. They are toned down. No full stops. I think they trim 5 mph off the train speed now...
