Door 4
What says Christmas more than Greek palaces or giant robots? Consumerism! Therefore it is fitting that on day 4 we visit a good old mall...as long as they still exist. The connection between malls and Christmas is obviously not just about buying presents but also about seeing theming and maybe even seeing Santa Claus himself!

Door 5
We're keeping the wintery vibes going in this entry which blends new elements and old-school theming. Have fun exploring a wintery village as a massive coaster roars overhead. As the snow falls around you, your mood rises as the promises of thrill and joy warm your heart.

Door 1: As mentioned on the discord, I'm always a fan of mazes being below buildings and terrain. The highlight of the red signs as columns against the off-white of the palace is also very nice. You really did a convincing job on the Minoan/bronze age theme here.
Door 2: It's insane that this took anything less than months to complete. There are parts of this that actually look really nice, like the area with the birch trees and brown flowers. Also, when zoomed out, it really reminds me of the largest map sizes in OpenTTD. The micro itself is the best part of the map, but it's interesting seeing the juxtaposition between something dense and detailed, like most NCSO, completely surrounded by classic and 'organic' rct2.
Door 3: The 'zaniness' and object usage makes this reminiscent of a RCTspace Happy Holidays non-park for me. Santa delivering life-size toys via a giant tank-crane is such a cool idea, until he accidentally levels the house in the process. Big fan of this map though, and I can agree with the person who mentioned on Discord that the train drooping as it's getting picked up by the crane is a really cool detail.
Door 4: Interesting that this is semi-NCSO but it wouldn't look out of place in Lenox Mall; it really shows how far this style has progressed. There's a lot of ingenious scenery usage here: the Disney store, the nautical wall signs; I'm personally a huge fan of the flooring. I do, however, have conflicting feelings about gummy bear Santa.
Door 5: Definitely agree on V1's post that this blends old and new. This is probably how people imagined their old LL winter-themed parks looked back in the day. There are a lot of cool little details here, like the skier, the steam engine, and the peep using a circle to protect himself from a bear. Also, I love the snow but wish it displayed at the other angles.

Op Art Residence
It's past time we leave the realms of reason and realism behind. As we peek behind the sixth door, we see something that is reminiscient more of an art piece than a theme park or mall. This neat little entry definitely mixes things up and brings a whole new dimension into our little Advent Calendar.

Christmas Dreams
For uncounted children all across the world, the night before Christmas is a special one. They can't wait to slip into their dreams to find presents under the tree the next morning...unless of course you live in a country where gifts are exchanged in the evening. No matter where you grew up, the night before the big day will always be a special one, filled with hopes and dreams.

Door 5:
Very nice moment, cool to see the continued experimentation of the faux-LL with modern objects. Layout is popping too, love the Norwegian loop across the path.
Door 6:
Outside the box, feels like an abstraction of a hotel or apartment complex, peering into an arrangement of rooms. Cool work.
Door 7:
Cute little layout and effect with the snowflakes floating in the void. Unconventional, but it has a warm impact. -

The New Millenium Club
After a number of Christmas themed entries it's time we get something different again. But we do not fully leave known ground. Just like an Advent Calendar itself, this entry looks into the future. It is not a bleak and hopeless future, though, it's a future spent having a good time somewhere among the stars.

i only have sundays off this month so ill try to look at the parks and leave comments and guesses a week at a time
door 1: its cool, this guy should probably just play rct2 though
door 2: this is wild, so fun to explore and so satisfying to look at zoomed out. the micro itself is a very cute ncso piece
door 3: the detailing on the machine is sick, and the little christmas decorations on it. favorite detail is the droop of the train being picked up
door 4: cute clean and nostalgic, and the textures are very satisfying
door 5: love the ll style buildings, looks so pretty with the cso details. love the colors too
door 6: this is really cool, i was not expecting there to be multiple angles. really love this one
door 7: simple and very effective. i really love the object usage here
door 8: crazy how dense this is, theres a lot going on here. love all the fucked up objects and odd textures

The Lonely Signalman
Let's not forget all of those who have to work over Christmas. As many of us enjoy the time with their family in our warm and cozy homes, some people have to brave the weather and do their duty...even on Christmas. In this little scene we pay tribute to these people. Behind this door awaits simply train tracks and snow.

LEGO Hogwarts Castle
Behind the tenth door await two brands linked tightly to Christmas. In the Harry Potter books, Christmas was alwas an important time of the year, getting a lot of attention and playing host for many memorable scenes. In our real world, LEGO is a very popular Christmas gift for both Children and adults. So nothing should be more logical than combine the two into this very unique piece of RCT2.

R1 - Love how you made so much path look good and. Great building shape too!
R3 - Such a cool concept. The hanging train also looks really good!
R4 - Very lifelike, immediately gave me that Macy feel.
R5 - Immaculate vibes
R6 - Artsy fartsy
R7 - I think on a bigger scale this would give a great base for a Christmas village themed design. Looks nice!
R8 - This is how I'm gonna spend Christmas in the future.
R9 - I love simple stuff like this that tells a whole story through so little. Well done!
R10 - That's amazing. Those pieces look really good. Great that you gifted NE a lego set -

Door 6: This is trademark Ge-ride and I am happy to see it. The perspective of this really messes with my head; it does a good job at the tunnel illusion although it is genuinely pretty disorienting.
Door 7: Not sure if it was the intent but the floating snowflakes and various abstract and candy objects almost gave this a retro feel. Happy to see NCSO as always. My favorite thing about this would probably be the gift boxes.
Door 8: Little bit of background on this one: It is supposed to mimic that plasticky late-90s/early 2000s Y2k aesthetic. It isn't Christmas themed but vaguely new years themed... take note of the "party like it's 1999" dance ride or the abandoned walls and vehicles in the park outskirts: they're having a futuristic party, but it's on top of a post-apocalyptic past. Also, if you rotate the micro, there's a nice graphic design surprise.
Door 9: This one is very quaint and I really love the small scale of it. The usage of Star Wars sand crawlers as plows for the train is a genius idea; those rides, and the Star wars rides as a whole seem underused. The blizzard weather is a nice addition to it as well. I also had to turn up the volume for the ride, but the ambient sound effects were really cool and made for a more convincing scene.
Door 10: After opening this, the first surprise was realizing that this thing is not a micro. It is actually pretty huge. I was expecting the LEGO to be quarter-tile. The most impressive thing about this though is the fact that you somehow designed a LEGO MOC in RCT2... I wonder if there's the potential to recreate sets with that. With that said, this castle is really, really cool; serious respect for completely changing the look of the game.

The Dragon at Ocean Park
Since you apparently liked the recent streak even more than what came before, why not keep it going? We leave Christmas behind as we move east, to the mighty city of Hong Kong. Or to me more precise, to a small park south of the city, at the southern shore of Hong Kong Island. Behind this door, a great rendition of a Arrow Dynamics classic awaits us. Come and face The Dragon!
