Head-2-Head-X / H2HX Semifinals Predictions

We're in the endgame now. The weeks have become days until arguably the most important match of the contest. The remaining four teams are hungry as ever to grab their spot in finals, and their means of doing so will be nothing short of spectacular. Who wants it?

 

Soda Jerks vs. Dambusters: Liam swears vengeance against the Jerks for that one Wawel Castle remark Josh made. He's supercharged by Andrew Rajasthan-style and backed by Ulvenwood and Trav with a park that perfectly treads the line between grounded and fantastical in a way only Liam could. But wait! HERE COMES FREDD WITH A STEEL CHAIR! BAH GAWD! HE'S STOMPING LIAM IN HALF soda jerks make the finals

 

Lonely Hearts Club vs. Jazzcats: JFK has entered the building. FK, ever so desperate to break that H2H losing streak, goes the pure WTF artsy route he did during Micro Madness. J K provides the muscle and Camcorder and deanosrs take it over the top. On the Cats, AVC and Tolsimir team up to take the helm along with Bubbsy and AJ on a surrealist cityscape straight out of Poor Things. Or maybe it's another Steve park. Either way, Cats barely win. One of these parks will end up being a top 2 H2HX park; whether it beats The Screameasy or not is up for debate. Either way, this will end up being the match of the contest.

Dambusters: so far the dambusters have been leaning on the top picks with solid support by the lower picks. That worked because they've built great stuff. It could also mean that Morgan, Roy or Ultro have been chipping away at the next DAW. Going with a safe prediction and saying Liam and Andrew built a sequel to Rajasthan. This time in South America. Maybe they rebuilt Macchu Picchu. Feel like I predicted that already...

 

Soda Jerks: Walt has beat the busters before, so the Jerks made him build a semis park regardless of his summer plans. It's a park about the South American political climate. Gustav and Josh would have build on it but they were too busy coming up with a banger of a soundtrack together.

 

Lonely Hearts Club: FK has been quiet. And so has Deano. After R1 Deano has started building a park themed to Celtic history. FK has added a layer of after they invented Whiskey/Guiness. Cam provides a flat ride with an absolute banger of a soundtrack. The soundtrack works and gets them the win.

 

Jazzcats: AVC, Tols and Jene built a whimsical park about queer orcs and hyper masculine fairies.

cats build a super atmospheric park about fairytales and folklore.

 

lonely hearts build a park themed to mario kart, but it's actually minions instead. it has brown rocks. Original soundtrack by Hex, but it's made up entirely of voice memos that Cam autotuned/harmonized/layered to form an incredible chorus.

busters lean on Alex to make a ton of modular mushrooms that they quickly assemble into a masterpiece with scenery manager. Brutalist building style with gardens.

LHC - predicting Robdede and Amusement Parker’s R5 park that was moved to SF gets Nin added on to polish. Due to rule change, assuming a fourth player (maybe FK or JK himself) gets in the mix to drive it home. LHC gunning for GF with some big plug-in plays from deano to try for shock and awe!

Jerks - must be Walto pulling some more UFO plugin magic, some sort of game breaking efforts. Backed up by Josh and Ethan to get as much content in place as possible before the deadline

Dambusters - Andrew leads with Liam backup trying to recreate another successful Rajasthan moment. Culturally based park with lots of atmosphere and some killer layouts from Morgan.

Jazzcats - something’s a brewing

Jerks - Something realistic, crazy, funny and Action Parky led by Josh and Walto with Gustav forced to do all the grunt work. Finals will be an incomprehensible Ethan led park with help from Scoop and dirt. 

 

LHC - An awesome fantastical realism park led by J K and nin with help from Jens and maybe Rob too. Finals could be J K (does he sleep?)/FK/Mama core with help from that deep bench.

 

Jazzcats - Something epic fantasy led by AVC and maybe Leon/Tols. Feel like AJ is due to jump in for some awesome production too. Leon/Steve/Tols/MB lead park expected for the finals. 

 

Dambusters - What AVC just said^? lol. Yeah, I expect to see Liam again here doing Liam things with a fun park and new tress. Andrew and Trav likely high-share builders. Alex/Cocoa/Hoobs madness in the finals.

 

SF:

Jerks > Dambusters 

Jazzcats > LHC

A Steve+AVC park would also be pretty sick

Jerks vs. Busters: Ethan's new AI plugin vs. Andrew/Liam (boring, I know)

Hearts vs. Cats: FK vs. AVC (please)

 

Best park of the round: Jerks if the plugin doesn't break while building the park, otherwise Jazzcats

Matchup of the round: Jerks vs. Busters

 

Drama of the round: one of the teams doesn't finish their park, one or both of the eliminated teams starts an uproar because "the semi-final spot was wasted", unfinished park team hits back, three people quit NE

 

I'm kidding, I hope that doesn't happen.

Jerks build a community driven meta bait park with over 2 hours of audio logs thats mandatory to listen to before you can vote. The community turns on them and calls it pretentious. They still win by one vote from an unknown member voting last minute.

 

Lonely hearts club build another castle or manor but this time its in space or something. Leon and friends fire out another novel but innovative park plan with high execution. Jazzies win and steve builds the final.

Jerks > Busters: 

I expect the sequel to Ethan's Haunted Mansion pov thing. Something so outlandish that it makes us question if it's even RCT anymore.

 

Jazzcats > LHC: JK's dominance hits the immovable object of Leon's dominance.
