    Tweaked dial-up. :)

    When I first tweaked it, my speeds started at about 100kbps and gradually went back down to the 56k normal speed. Now they start at 30kbps and go down to the normal 56k speed.

    56k. But, it's only 10 bucks a month as opposed to 50 with an extra modem. But, it takes 10-15 minutes to download an MP3. :(

    I'm in southeastern Massachusetts. I believe that Verizon New England offers a similar plan, I'll have to check it out some more. Besides, I'm moving to a duplex soon, and I don't know if I can get any sort of cable or high speed internet installed anyway.

    Cable. Not sure how fast, exactly. Those test things say it's faster than T1.
